About the application

We’re excited to invite retail vendors to be part of our Cinco de Mayo celebration in downtown Decatur! This high-energy street festival on 2nd Avenue offers a great opportunity to showcase your products to a large, engaged crowd enjoying an evening of live music, entertainment, and local flavor.

 

Please note this application is for retail vendors only (no food or beverage vendors). All participating vendors must have a valid Decatur business license and are required to provide their own generator for any power needs, as electricity will not be supplied.

 

Space is limited, so we encourage early applications. Join us for a fun and festive event and connect with the community while growing your business in the heart of downtown Decatur!

About the event

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in downtown Decatur with a fun-filled street party on 2nd Avenue! Enjoy the crowd-favorite Chihuahua Dog Race, a vibrant low-rider car show, and live music throughout the evening. Sip and savor taco and margarita specials from your favorite downtown spots, explore local vendors, and let the kids play in the Kid Zone. It’s a lively celebration of culture, community, and unforgettable moments—right in the heart of Decatur!

Terms & Conditions

By submitting a vendor application, you agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers for the Cinco de Mayo celebration in downtown Decatur. All vendors must hold a valid City of Decatur business license and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Vendors are responsible for providing their own setup, including tents, tables, displays, and any necessary power sources (generators must be quiet and suitable for public events). Booth spaces must be maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner throughout the event. Vendors are responsible for any damage caused to their space and must leave the area free of trash and debris upon departure.

The event will take place rain or shine. No refunds will be issued due to weather or unforeseen circumstances unless the event is canceled by the organizers. Vendors assume all liability for their products, equipment, and personnel, and agree to hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, and the City of Decatur from any claims, losses, or damages.

Event organizers reserve the right to approve or deny any application, limit vendor categories, and remove any vendor who does not comply with these terms.
