Food Vendor Application Sparkle
About the application
Lilburn's Independence Day celebration, Sparkle in the Park is Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. This annual event in Lilburn City Park will include a free concert featuring the American Flyers and opening act, Son Latino, a variety of food vendors, children's activities, and one of Gwinnett's best Firework extravaganza's! Previous Sparkle in the Park events have enjoyed an average attendance of 10,000. Savory/Hot Vendors that are selected to be a part of the event will be charged $185.00 nonrefundable vendor fee upon approval. Sweet/Dessert Vendors that are selected to be a part of the event will be charged $115.00 nonrefundable vendor fee upon approval. Alcohol Vendors that are selected to be a part of the event will be charged $200.00 non refundable vendor fee and must also obtain a City of Lilburn Alcohol Permit. Please be sure to complete the entire application and submit all requested documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered. If your application is approved for the event, detailed load in times and set up information will be emailed to you no later than 7 days prior to the event date.

Rules for food vendors:
- Application deadline is May 3, 2026.
- Complete the entire application and submit all requested documents.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Please be sure that your uploaded menu includes all items and prices that you will be selling at the event.
- A completed application does not mean a space is guaranteed.
- Number and variety of vendors will be determined by the City of Lilburn.
- The City of Lilburn may remove a vendor for any reason.
- If you submit an application for a specific truck or setup, that truck and set up should be the only one at the event. You can not substitute a truck unless this was arranged in advance with the Event Coordinator.
- No Show trucks will be dropped from future events with no refund.
- Vendors will be scheduled for arrival by the City of Lilburn Event Coordinator. You must arrive at your scheduled time.
- No sells after 10:00 pm.
- Only accepted vendors who have paid their fee will be permitted.
- Upon arrival you will be escorted into the park by an Event Attendant. Do not enter the park without an escort.
- Please stay off of the grass and remain along the gravel path.
- Vendors must have their own tents, tables, chairs, extension cords, lighting, and water.
- All tents must be weighted and can not be staked.
- If a generator is used it must be quiet as to not disturb other vendors or the event.
- Grease will only be allowed in self contained cooking units and cannot be disposed of in the park.
- Tent vendors can not cook with grease.
- You can not serve alcohol or anything in glass bottles.
- No break down until after the event has ended at 10 p.m.
- All trash must be removed from the booth space at the end of the event and taken to the main trash dumpster.
- All food vendors must have an operational fire extinguisher at their booth space and are subject to inspection by the Gwinnett County Fire Marshall.
- Vendor agrees to stay for the duration of the event.
- You will be escorted out of the park by an Event Attendant once the crowd disperses.
- All events are outside rain or shine.
- The City of Lilburn reserves the right to approve or deny food vendor applications. The city does not guarantee that food vendors will have exclusive rights to sell a particular item. Similar items may be available for sale at the event.

- The City of Lilburn and its employees assume no liability for loss or injury. Applicant agrees to hold The City of Lilburn and its employees harmless for any loss or injury. Applicant agrees to abide by industry standards relating to safe food handling, preparation, and service. By completing and signing the vendor application, the applicant acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to the policies and terms outlined in this document.

- By signing this application, I certify that I have read and understand the above stated rules, I agree to abide by the rules, and that all information listed on this application form is correct. As the renter/vendor, I understand that the failure to comply with the above stated rules could result in the loss of my rental fee and removal from the event. I understand that the City of Lilburn staff reserves the right to request the Renter/Vendor to leave. I understand that the event may be cancelled at any time deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Lilburn. The City of Lilburn and its employees assume no liability for loss or injury. Applicant agrees to hold The City of Lilburn and its employees harmless for any loss or injury.
