Tent Weight Requirement
All vendors using a canopy tent must secure their tent with a minimum of 40 pounds of weight on each tent leg.
 Minimum 40 lbs per leg
160 lbs total per tent

Weights must be securely attached to each leg of the canopy frame and remain in place for the entire event.

This rule is required due to wind conditions that frequently occur in Colorado.

Example Tent Weight System
The following is an example of a commonly used canopy weight system vendors may purchase:

Other acceptable weight options include:
 Sandbags
Water weight bags
 Gym plates
 Concrete weights
Any properly secured system totaling 40 lbs per leg

Enforcement
Vendor tents will be inspected during setup.
Vendors who arrive without proper tent weights will not be permitted to set up.
If a vendor cannot meet the weight requirement:
The vendor will be asked to leave the event
No refunds will be issued
This rule is strictly enforced for safety and liability reasons.

Wind guidelines:
 Under 25 mph winds
Canopies may be used with proper weights.
 25–30 mph winds
Vendors may be required to remove canopy tops while leaving the tent frame in place.
