June 2026: The Lab Performer Application
About the application
This application is for performers (musicians, bands and poets). The venue we are in can only accomodate performance acts that are music based. If you are a drag performer please send us an email and inquire if we can accomodate you. We cannot accomodate contemporary dancers at this time.
The Lab is the perfect stepping stone, whether this is your first performance or you are a seasoned performer. We welcome all genres of music!
Please note, there are seperate applications for each month, we only accept 3-4 acts per event.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
You must respond to all emails sent to you to confirm that you have read them and please ensure that you are available to do the following:
- Load in is at 6 pm
- Please communicate the following needs:
- If you need a place to get ready
- Stage set up/needs (# of DI boxes, all instruments on stage, # of mics, etc.)
- Performance times must be between 20-30 minutes. Do NOT go over 30 minutes.
THINGS TO NOTE:
- The performance schedule will be solidified a month prior and will be emailed to you at lease 2 weeks out.
- If you sell merch, you will be solely responsible for collecting payment and sales tax (if applicable). D.O.S.E. will NOT take any percentage of your sales.
- Feel free to have a tip jar.
- If chosen, any participant under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Please, NO open fire.
PAYMENT
The performance budget is set for each event. $50 per person per performance for a 30 minute set (i.e. 5 piece band, 30 minute performance = $250)
