Polynesian dance schools are invited to join the outdoor vendor village at Heiva i Los Angeles.

Meet new students, connect with the community, and present your school to families and dance enthusiasts attending the event.

Dance schools may promote classes, workshops, and upcoming programs.

Vendor spaces are limited and selection is curated.

 

About the event

Heiva i Los Angeles is an international Tahitian dance competition bringing together performers from across the U.S. and abroad. The competition will take place inside the Redondo Union HS amphitheater, while a curated outdoor vendor village will be hosted on the lawn in front of the venue. This family-friendly cultural event welcomes the general public and offers continuous foot traffic throughout the day, especially during competition intermissions. We are currently accepting artisan vendors, cultural merchandise, lifestyle brands, and food truck to create a vibrant festival atmosphere.

Terms & Conditions

 

1. Booth Purpose

Dance school booths are intended for promotion and community outreach only.

Schools may present their programs, distribute information, and recruit new students.

Sale of merchandise is OK but food is not permitted.

 
2. Booth Space

Each booth space measures 10’ x 10’ and is located on the outdoor grass lawn.

The lawn may contain slight slopes or uneven terrain, and schools must ensure their setup is stable and safe.

 
3. Equipment

Participants must provide their own:

• Tent
• Tables
• Chairs
• Tent weights (mandatory)

Electricity is not available for lawn booth spaces.

 
4. Setup & Breakdown

Setup begins at 8:00 AM.
All booths must be fully packed and cleared by 8:00 PM.

Participants must operate only within their assigned space and follow directions from event staff.

 
5. Conduct

Schools are expected to maintain a respectful and family-friendly presence aligned with the spirit of the event.

Amplified music, performances, or demonstrations are not permitted without prior approval from the Organizer.

 
6. Weather

This is an outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine unless canceled by the Organizer.

Participants assume all weather-related risks.

 
7. Payment

Booth fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or no-show.

If the Organizer cancels the event due to severe weather or force majeure, booth fees will be issued as credit toward a future HIP’S LEAGUE event.

 

This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

Prices

Application fees $25.00 Non-refundable There is a $25 non-refundable application fee which is charged upon application.
Dance School Booth $100.00 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep. Promotional booth for dance schools and cultural organizations.
