We’re excited to announce that vendor applications for our upcoming April 10th & 11th 'A Vintage Festival' are officially OPEN!


This market will take place on Friday, April 10th (5PM-10:30PM) and Saturday, April 11th (11AM-6PM) in Brooklyn, NY. We are coming back to Brooklyn Roots Collective (255 Randolph St) and taking over their 20,000 sq ft indoor & outdoor space complete with bars, a full stage, and space to party and shop all weekend long!

Terms & Conditions

You will ONLY be charged if you are ACCEPTED for your vending date.
 
NO REFUNDS: All vendor fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Vendor cancellations, no-shows, weather conditions, or changes in attendance do not qualify for refunds. In the event the market must be canceled, postponed, or modified due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control — including but not limited to severe weather, acts of God, government regulations, public health concerns, or venue-related issues — refunds will not be issued. The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event or apply fees toward a future market when feasible, but this is not guaranteed. Submission of payment confirms the Vendor’s understanding and agreement to these terms

 

YOUR VENDING SPACE: Each INDOOR clothing rack space at "A Vintage Festival" is a single 6' x 3' spot within the Brooklyn Roots Collective. Vendors must bring their own clothing rack that fits within this space. No additional vending materials will be provided. Your clothing rack must not go beyond your outlined space. 

 

VENDING FEE: Your vending fee covers both market dates (4/10 & 4/11). Vendors are not allowed to vend at just one day - please confirm you are available for both Friday and Saturday before applying.

 

SETUP: Setup will run from 2PM-5PM on Friday, April 10th, all vendors must be ready for the market open by 5PM. We will share more information about specific load-in times for each vendor as the market approaches, but please plan to arrive in waves. We will also have market staff stationed at both entrances to help with the flow of traffic and guiding vendors to the proper areas.

 

EVENT HOURS: Friday, April 10th: 5PM - 10:30PM (night market) & Saturday, April 11th: 11AM - 6PM (day market) 

 

STORAGE: As this is a two-day market, vendors are permitted to leave their vending materials in Brooklyn Roots Collective overnight. The venue will be locked and has an alarm system. Vendors are permitted to bring extra merchandise on Saturday to help restock their booths. If you have any merchandise that is especially valuable, please make sure to take home those pieces with you in between markets. RAPOZA EVENTS LLC, THX ITS THRIFTED LLC & Brooklyn Roots Collective Inc are not liable for any lost or stolen merchandise during the market. 

 

BREAKDOWN: Breakdown will begin after the market closes at 6PM on Saturday, April 11th. Breaking down early requires permission from market event staff. Vendors who leave early without permission will not be invited back for future markets. Load out must be completed by 8 PM April 11th. Any forgotten items will not be available for pickup or shipment to Vendor after the load out period.
 
A VINTAGE FESTIVAL VALUES: The Lucky Flea & Thx it's thrifted is first and foremost a safe and inclusive atmosphere for creators & curators to thrive as a collective. Hate is never tolerated. I hereby declare that I have read and accept all conditions of A Vintage Festival . I understand that there are no refunds of the vending fee. I consent to all photos/ videos taken at the event to be released publicly. RAPOZA EVENTS LLC, THX ITS THRIFTED LLC and affiliated businesses including Brooklyn Roots Collective Inc are not responsible for any liability, lost or stolen merchandise or injury during the event

 

BROOKLYN ROOTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

AGREEMENT OVERVIEW:
By signing this Liability Waiver, the undersigned Vendor agrees to the following terms and
conditions as a participant in an event at Brooklyn Roots Collective Inc. (hereafter referred to as
"Brooklyn Roots Collective"). This agreement is entered into voluntarily and is intended to
release Brooklyn Roots Collective from any liability related to the event. Vendor is selling
goods, performing, and/or assisting in an event taking place at Brooklyn Roots Collective, and
has been booked, hired, or is volunteering with Rapoza Events LLC and THX ITS THRIFTED LLC (hereafter collectively referred to as “Client”) who has signed a contract with Brooklyn
Roots Collective.

 

Liability Release:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Vendor agrees to release, indemnify, defend and hold
harmless Brooklyn Roots Collective Inc., 255 Randolph Street Properties LLC, Alray Scott
Avenue LLC, Triple J Scott Avenue LLC, Gen Holdings, NY LLC, J&R Metro Properties LLC,
their employees, volunteers, contractors, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims,
demands, actions, or causes of action arising from or related to injury, damage, loss, theft, or
accident that may occur before, during, or after the event, including but not limited to personal
injury, property damage, or theft of goods. Vendor acknowledges and agrees that Brooklyn Roots Collective Inc. does not provide insurance coverage of any kind for Vendor, including but not limited to commercial general liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation, or employer’s liability insurance. Vendor further acknowledges and agrees that Vendor’s participation in the Event is undertaken solely on behalf of Client, and Vendor is not covered by any insurance maintained by Brooklyn Roots Collective Inc. The Vendor is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining insurance coverage for their products, booth, equipment, and any personnel associated with their participation in the event. Vendor agrees that all insurance coverage maintained by Vendor shall provide coverage without policy provisions that preclude coverage or otherwise restrict, reduce, or limit coverage and all insurance policies—other than workers compensation policies—shall include Brooklyn Roots Collective Inc., 255 Randolph Street Properties LLC, Alray Scott Avenue LLC, Triple J Scott Avenue LLC, Gen Holdings, NY LLC, and J&R Metro Properties LLC as Additional Insureds (“Additional Insureds”), on a primary and non-contributory basis for ongoing and completed operations. For the avoidance of doubt, all pre-existing insurance policies maintained by Vendor shall be primary and non-contributory.

 

Compliance with Event Rules:
The Vendor agrees to follow all event rules and regulations set forth by Brooklyn Roots
Collective and Client, including but not limited to setup, breakdown, and conduct during the event. Failure to comply with the event rules may result in removal from the event.

 

Event Cancellation or Postponement:
In the event that the event is canceled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, including
but not limited to weather, acts of God, or government intervention, Brooklyn Roots Collective
will notify Client as soon as possible, and it shall be the duty of the Client to inform Vendor.

 

Publicity and Photos:
The Vendor grants permission for Brooklyn Roots Collective to take photographs or videos of
Vendor and the event area for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes. The Vendor
acknowledges that these images may be used by Brooklyn Roots Collective for event-related,
and general publicity.

 

Vendor’s Responsibility:
The Vendor is responsible for setting up and tearing down paraphernalia associated with the
event in the event area booked by the Client in a timely and professional manner. The Vendor
agrees to leave the event area clean and free of debris at the conclusion of the event. The Vendor is also responsible for any permits or licenses required for their operations during the event. Vendor shall provide proof of required permits to Client and Brooklyn Roots Collective prior to the event date. Vendor acknowledges it is the duty of the Client, and not Brooklyn Roots Collective, to inform them of their specific role and responsibilities as a Vendor to ensure a successful event.

 

By signing this form, the Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to
the terms outlined in this Liability Waiver. The Vendor voluntarily accepts the risks and
agrees to hold the Brooklyn Roots Collective, Rapoza Events LLC and THX ITS THRIFTED LLC harmless from any and all liability.
