When: First Friday - April 3rd, 2026
Where: 115 W 18th St, Kansas City, MO 64108
Official Market Hours: 5–9 p.m.*
Load-in: 3:30–4:45 p.m.
Load-out: 9–10 p.m.
Booth Fees:
- Canopy Space: 10x10ft Canopy Spot – $50/date + 7.6% processing fee
- Alley Space: 10x5ft Alley Spot – $25/date + 7.6% processing fee
Application open to handcrafted artisans, fine artists & art-related services (henna, face/body painters, caricature artists, etc.). ALL applicants must live within 50 miles of Kansas City to support local creatives.
Booth Details:
10x10' Reserved Canopy Spaces:
- Curated due to limited space—vendors selected based on professionalism, experience, booth presentation, quality, and product/service type.
- Vendors must provide their own 10x10' canopy, 20–30lb weights per leg, chairs, tables, tablecloths, displays.Reserved Alley Spaces:
- Open to ALL handcrafted vendors! Novice vendors welcome & encouraged :)
- Vendors must bring their own table, chairs, tablecloths, displays.
- For spacing and traffic flow 8x8' & 10x10' canopies are NOT allowed in alleys & on sidewalks, unless weather calls for rain.
- Spaces are 10ft wide x 5ft deep
Timeline:
Monthly applications open on the 1st of each month, prior to the upcoming First Friday date. (ex. June applications open on May 1st)
- Application approvals begins on the 14th of the month.
- Once approved, your card on file will be charged in full to secure your space for the month.
- All approved vendors will receive a booth number, QR check-in code & vendor instructions email with weather updates on the Wednesday before First Friday.
**First Friday Day-Of Entry Option:
To ensure inclusion of vendors with limited access to tech, digital funds, scheduling uncertainty OR if all RESERVED spaces are full —Day-Of entry is available for limited Alley/Sidewalk Spots.
- No pre-registration required. Simply show up, and find a spot indicated in YELLOW on the event map.
- $35 booth fee collected by AGKC staff day-of (cash/venmo/cashapp accepted).
- Spots are first-come, first-serve. Vendors may set-up anytime between 10am-5pm.
- Spaces fit an 8ft or smaller table and chairs. Must bring own table, chairs, displays etc.
Please share this memo with artist friends who do not have internet access, etc.
Load-in & Arrival Times:
Alley & Day-Of Vendors ONLY: Set up anytime between 10am to 5pm, at your discretion (shopper traffic picks up around 5 pm) Note: Staff will not be fully present until 3pm. Street closures go up at 3:00 pm, just before our official load-in window begins at 3:30pm. Vendors will not be able to drive onto 18th or 19th Street once the closures are in place. Please do not take another vendor's reserved space or block entryways to area businesses.
Canopy Vendors: Canopy vendors MUST set-up between 3:30pm to 4:45 pm. Street closures go up at 3:00 pm, just before our official load-in window begins at 3:30pm. Vendors will not be able to drive onto 18th or 19th Street once the closures are in place.
Additional Notes:
ALL Vendors: We strongly recommend a cart, wagon, or friends to help transport supplies. No designated parking or loading dock. Public parking only, at your discretion.

Terms & Conditions
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Credit/debit card info is required to apply; charges are only made if your application is approved.
- Cancellations must be sent via Eventeny messages at least 7 days before your scheduled date to receive a full refund.
- Vendors must stay from open to close; notify on-site AGKC staff if there is an emergency and you need to leave.
- Event is rain or shine. No refunds for cancellations due to severe weather or external factors.
Product Limitations
- Open to handcrafted artisans, fine artists, and art-related services (henna, face/body painters, caricature artists, etc.).
- Applicants must live within 50 miles of Kansas City.
- Art depicting nudity must be tasteful with artistic merit; explicit sexual acts are not allowed. Questionable items may be removed.
- No unaltered trademarked, logo’d, or licensed images/products. Alterations must distinguish designs from originals.
- No manufactured/resell items or AI art.
- No alcohol sales.
- Baked goods or shelf-stable food vendors must list ingredients and post signage noting preparation in a non-commercial kitchen.
Property Damage
Art Garden Kansas City LLC, Crossroads Community Association, and their affiliates are not liable for loss or damage to property.
Vendors are responsible for their own liability insurance (not required).
