About the application

Gwinnett’s 2026 Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration is seeking community partners to participate in our Community Connections component.

Community Connections highlight organizations that actively serve, support, or engage the community in Gwinnett. Partners help enrich the celebration by creating visually engaging and culturally relevant displays that contribute to the overall theme of the event. While organizations may share informational materials about their services, the primary focus is to enhance the celebration through displays that honor Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander culture and the 2026 theme.

APPLICATION PROCESS
When applying, you'll be prompted to create your account with your basic information. This will allow you to receive notification regarding the status of your application when it is provided.

Eligible Community Partners
Organizations whose work supports community engagement, cultural education, or community well-being, including:
• Health and wellness organizations
• Nonprofit agencies
• Faith-based organizations
• Educational institutions
• Community development organizations
• Cultural or heritage-based groups

Partner Expectations
If selected, your organization will be provided with a table space. Your display must prominently feature materials related to the 2026 Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration and/or event theme, such as cultural artifacts, visual displays, posters, or educational and historical elements.

You may also include brochures or informational items about your organization, as long as they support — not replace — the celebration-themed display.

As a Community Connections partner, you will be able to:
• Engage directly with Gwinnett residents
• Share your organization’s mission, role, and impact
• Help elevate the event experience through meaningful cultural representation

Timeline
Application approvals will occur between April 17th - April 21st with additional information regarding approvals sent by April 22nd. All applicants will be notified following the review period. If selected, you may be asked to submit recent photos for promotional purposes.
