The Cider Association of Maryland is thrilled that you’re interested in showcasing your work at the upcoming Maryland Cider Festival. Our event is a celebration of local craft, flavor, and community—and we know our attendees will love what you bring to the table.

The Selection Process
To ensure a curated experience for our guests, all applications will be reviewed by the Cider Association of Maryland / Maryland Cider Festival committee. We are looking for a vibrant mix of arts, crafts, and food tables that complement the spirit of the festival.

Notification: Vendors will be notified of their application status (Approved, Waitlisted, or Declined) via Eventeny once the review period is complete.
Booth Fees & Investment
We have some "sweet" news: There are currently no application or booth fees for this event. 

Please Note: While we have waived fees for this festival, the Maryland Cider Festival reserves the right to implement booth or application fees for future events.

Logistics & Placement
We want to ensure the best possible flow for both vendors and foot traffic.

Booth Assignment: Festival management will determine all booth selections and placements based on the final number of vendors and site requirements.Load-In & Maps: Approved vendors will receive a detailed festival map, load-in schedule, and specific instructions in our pre-festival communications.

Artisan Vendor Terms & Conditions
1. Licensing and Tax Compliance

Trader’s License: The Vendor is solely responsible for researching, obtaining, and maintaining a valid Maryland Trader’s License (or any other required local business license) necessary to sell goods at the event.
Tax ID & Sales Tax: The Vendor is exclusively responsible for the collection and remittance of all applicable Maryland Sales and Use Tax. The Vendor must have their State Tax ID available for inspection if requested by state or local authorities.
Sole Responsibility: The Maryland Cider Festival and the Cider Association of Maryland assume no responsibility for a vendor’s failure to comply with state licensing or tax requirements.
2. Rain or Shine Policy

Weather: The Maryland Cider Festival is a Rain or Shine event. Artisans should come prepared for outdoor conditions.
Vendor Equipment: It is the Vendor’s responsibility to provide adequate protection for their merchandise (e.g., tent sides, weights, or waterproof coverings if applicable).
No Cancellations: No credits or compensation will be issued due to inclement weather unless the event is officially canceled by Festival Management due to extreme, unsafe conditions (e.g., state of emergency).
3. Product Authenticity & Quality

Handcrafted Focus: We prioritize artisans who sell original, handcrafted work. The Maryland Cider Festival reserves the right to ask a vendor to remove items that were not disclosed in the original application or that do not meet the quality standards of the event.
4. Setup and Safety

Tent Weights: (If applicable)

All 10x10 tents must be secured with at least 40 lbs of weight per leg. This is a safety requirement for the protection of your inventory and our guests.Booth Staffing: Vendors are expected to have their booths staffed and open for business during all official festival hours.
5. Liability & Indemnification The Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Cider Association of Maryland, the Maryland Cider Festival, and all associated venues and staff from any loss, theft, damage, or injury to persons or property resulting from the Vendor’s participation in the event.
