About the application

We’re looking for talented performers to join our Family-Friendly Comic Con Variety Show. If you have a fun, geeky act that’s appropriate for all ages, we want to see it.

Seeking:

  • Cosplay skits
  • Clean comedy
  • Music (covers, parodies, originals)
  • Dance (Themed choreography)
  • Magic or specialty acts with a fandom twist
  • String Instrumentals to popular theme songs

Guidelines:

  • 3–6 minutes in length
  • G or PG-rated material only
  • Performers provide their own costumes and props

Performers Receive:

  • A featured performance slot
  • An official event T-shirt and swag

Get ready for an award-winning (FREE) 2-day celebration at DTL CON-Quest, presented in partnership with Galactic Quest! What began as the beloved Free Comic Book Day event has grown into a full convention experience. And this year, in honor of our 10-year partnership anniversary, we’re celebrating with a new name and a fresh new look for the event! Join us as we level up the fun with comics, cosplay, creators, games, activities, and so much more right in the heart of Downtown Lawrenceville. Join us on May 1st, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, and May 2nd, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for DTL CON-Quest: "Every Adventure Begins with a Spark,". Get ready to ignite new passions or fuel existing ones. Wear your favorite costume or cosplay and embark on the #DTLcomicquest for FREE comic books scattered throughout The DTL. Whether you're a cosplayer, sci-fi enthusiast, or fantasy lover, this event offers something for everyone to enjoy! Immerse yourself in the world of comics with expert-led panels and workshops covering comic creation, game development, cosplay, and storytelling.
