About the application

Welcome to the Food Vendor Application for this year's Father's Day Car Show! Vendors are selected from qualified applicants to maintain variety and balance for the overall event experience. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement. Please review all instructions carefully before submitting.

 

Applicants must complete the appropriate application based on their business type (e.g., Food Vendor, Business Vendor, Nonprofit). Incorrect submissions will be required to resubmit under the correct category.

 

Note: While we make every effort to limit multiple vendors offering similar items, exclusivity is not guaranteed.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
ALL VENDORS shall procure and maintain for the event insurance against claims for injuries to persons or damages to property which may arise from or in connection with the event and the activities of the vendor, their guests, agents, representatives, employees, or subcontractors, with the following minimum scope and limits of insurance:
 
Commercial General Liability (CGL) on an “occurrence” basis, including property damage, bodily injury, and personal & advertising injury with limits no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. If a general aggregate limit applies, either the general aggregate limit shall apply separately to this project/location, or the general aggregate limit shall be twice the required occurrence limit ($2,000,000).
 
The insurance policies are to contain, or be endorsed to contain, the following Additional Insured Status:
 
The City of Murrieta, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers are to be covered as additional insureds on the CGL policy with respect to liability arising out of or resulting from the Vendor’s participation in the event. 
 
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
If you live in, or your business is based in the city of Murrieta, a current Murrieta business license is required.
 
If you do NOT live in, or your business is not based in the City of Murrieta, a Temporary Vendor's Permit from the City of Murrieta is required.

Terms & Conditions

Murrieta Community Services Department reserves the right to deny the vendor’s request once the application is reviewed by staff. You will be contacted if there is some reason we cannot process your application. Booth space is not guaranteed until all necessary paperwork and payment is received. The undersigned acknowledges that each vendor space is 10’ wide x 10’ deep.  If you need additional space for prep or cooking, or if you have a food truck, you must purchase enough booth spaces to accommodate your needs. Vendors must provide their own canopy, table and any other supplies needed.  No vehicles permitted to park next to or by their vendor booth. Vendors may unload at their booth and then move immediately. 

 

The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Murrieta, Community Services department, its representatives, agents, officers and employees from all damages, liabilities, costs and expenditures, including attorney fees and costs for defense, which may occur due to the participation in the craft fair.

 

The undersigned acknowledges that there is NO WATER OR ELECTRICAL HOOK UP AVAILABLE. All vendors must be completely set-up by the event start time and are asked not to break down their displays until the event end time. It is the vendor’s responsibility to remove all trash in their area before leaving.

Prices

Single booth $250.00 Non-refundable One 10’x10’ vendor space. Early bird pricing available through March 31. Perfect for vendors whose full setup fits within a standard booth footprint.
Double booth $375.00 Non-refundable Two connected 10’x10’ spaces for vendors requiring additional room. Early bird pricing available through March 31. The second booth is discounted at 50% of the standard rate.
Single booth $300.00 Non-refundable One 10’x10’ vendor space for setups that fit within a standard booth footprint.
Double booth $450.00 Non-refundable Two connected 10’x10’ spaces for vendors requiring additional room. The second booth is discounted at 50% of the standard rate.
City of Murrieta Temporary Vendor Permit $12.88 Non-refundable If you do not have a City of Murrieta business license and do not live or operate a business within Murrieta city limits, you are required to purchase a Temporary Vendor Permit.
1-Day Liability Insurance $50.00 Non-refundable Liability Insurance MUST be purchased if you do not provide the minimum requirements of $1 million/$2 million.
