Terms & Conditions
APPLICATIONS, PRODUCTS, LICENSING:Â
Â
1. Submissions for consumable goods made, baked, or grown by participants are preferred. Limited craft spaces are available.The market is not for business resale, non-profit resale of pre-packaged goods, or fundraising.
2. Only applications with the required and current licensing will be considered. (See below.)
Products requiring state licenses may be considered when a copy of the current licenses issued by the proper authority accompanies the application.

Applicable products are as follows:
- Meat Products – Georgia Meat Compliance Laws
- Eggs – Egg candling certificate
- Dairy Products – Georgia Dairy Law
- Organic Products - USDA standards (Products may be sold as "organic products" only if the proper state certification is displayed)
- Low Acid/Acidified Foods (Coffee, Canned Vegetables, Pickles, Salsa, etc.) – Food Sales Establishment License
- Plants – Live Plant License from the Department of Agriculture
- Cottage food products, including loaf breads, rolls, biscuits, cakes, pastries, cookies, candies, confections, fruit pies, jams, jellies, preserves, dried fruits, dry herbs, seasonings and mixtures, cereals, trail mixes, granola, coated and uncoated nuts, vinegar and flavored vinegar, popcorn, popcorn balls, and cotton candy - Food Labeling Requirements
3. All applications that fail to meet document/image requirements will not be considered for this event.Â
4. Product images submitted must be clear and specific to be considered for admission to the market. All products offered at this event must be made aware to organizers.Â

5. Submitted images may be used for marketing and event promotion.
6. Only products approved by the City of Sugar Hill will be allowed to be sold at the event. Any vendor who misrepresents the content or intent of their booth will be asked to leave the event area, with NO REFUND.
7. Vendors must ensure that product costs are transparent, with all fees clearly stated at the time of purchase.

8. If selling by weight, it is the responsibility of the seller to have Georgia Department of Agriculture-approved scales for weighing the produce. These scales are to be tested periodically.
9. For food safety, all prepared food items should be covered or wrapped before the market to prevent bees, flies, and other insects.Â

10. At any time during the market season, management reserves the right to inspect the premises where products are grown, processed, or crafted.
11. A submitted application does not imply acceptance.
12. Only registered participants will be permitted to sell at the market.
Â
BOOTH SPACES, EQUIPMENT:
1. All booth spaces are outdoors.
2. Vendor space will be a 10x10 area. It is the vendor(s) responsibility to provide all equipment and props needed (i.e., tent/canopy, tables, chairs, canopy weights, display signs, trash bags). ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE their canopies weighted down or be subject to being asked to leave the market.
3. On-site electricity is not provided. GENERATORS ARE THE VENDOR'S RESPONSIBILITY IF ELECTRICITY IS REQUIRED.
4. Vendors must have a fire extinguisher in their booth if cooking products or samples onsite with an open flame.

5. Management shall maintain exclusive discretion as to the permitting and location of each participant to determine the best and most viable mixture of products.
EXPECTATIONS:
Â
1. Current market hours for 2026 are Tuesdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. (rain or shine) unless otherwise stated. Management reserves the right to cancel or close the market in inclement weather. All weather cancellations or postponements will be communicated to you by City of Sugar Hill event staff or event organizers.
2. Load-in on market days will begin 1.5 hours before the market opens, and load-out will begin at market closing time. Upon setup, vendors shall follow the booth map provided. Each vendor is responsible for MOVING their vehicle to the designated parking spaces in a timely manner.
3. Vendors are responsible for the clean-up of their area at the conclusion of the event. Booths must remain open and shall not be dismantled before the end of the event. Â If your booth sells out before closing time contact the onsite coordinator and accommodations will be made if possible.
4. If a vendor misses three markets during the season without contacting the market manager, the vendor may lose his or her permit with NO REFUND and be asked to reapply to the market to continue their participation.
5. No smoking or the use of tobacco products, no alcohol or drug use, and no profanity is allowed in the vendor area.

6. All sellers at the market are encouraged to be friendly, courteous, truthful, and honest. Sellers who are the subject of complaints may lose market privileges with NO REFUND. Management will investigate all customer or participant complaints.Â
6. Any participant who receives complaints from market consumers for product quality is subject to inspection. Vendors will lose market privileges with NO REFUND if they have multiple verified complaints about the quality of their products.
7. All vendors and their representatives agree the City of Sugar Hill WILL NOT be held responsible for any damages, personal or bodily injury, sickness, disease, or death that may occur as a result of a vendor(s) negligence or products.
8. Management has the authority to expel any vendor(s) from the market should any of the above guidelines, policies, or rules be ignored. NO REFUND will be issued if asked to leave the market.
9. Management reserves the right to amend these policies as needed and will provide an updated copy of the new policy to all registered vendors.Â

10. All issues relating to the market should be discussed with the market coordinator or City of Sugar Hill event staff. The market coordinaor or City of Sugar Hill staff will address customer and vendor complaints.Â
