Live Painting Competition
About the application
BloomFest Music & Arts Festival is inviting talented local and regional artists to participate in a live painting experience during BloomFest on May 9, 2026! This interactive competition gives artists the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art in real time while engaging with festival attendees.
Selected artists will have three (3) hours to complete a live painting inspired by the theme:
Spring, Music, and Art.
Each artist will be provided with:
🖼 One 12” x 18” canvas
🧱 An easel
Artists must bring all other painting materials and supplies.
🎨 How It Works:
• Submit 2–3 photos of your original artwork with your application
• A jury panel will select three (3) artists to participate
• Artists will paint live during BloomFest in front of attendees
• Festival guests will vote in real time for their favorite piece
• The winning artist will be announced live at 8:00 PM on the BloomFest stage
This is a fun, high-visibility opportunity to showcase your talent, connect with the community, and be part of one of Duncanville’s signature spring events.
We can’t wait to see your creativity come to life at BloomFest! 🌼🎶🎨🌸
