Garden Patch Craft Contributor Application - 2026 Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival

This is the application for CRAFT CONTRIBUTOR PARTICIPATION

Saturday, 10 AM. - 6 PM

Sunday, 10 AM - 5 PM

 The Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival is held each spring on the streets of historic downtown Leesburg, Virginia. This award-winning festival showcases beautiful flowers, plants and landscaping along with the best of gardening and outdoor living products and services.  The event draws tens of thousands of visitors each year from near and far. So, get your wagon ready and join us at the 36th Annual Flower and Garden Festival.

Leesburg Town Green transforms each April into The Garden Patch, a place for kids of all ages.

The Garden Patch offers hands on arts & craft stations both Saturday & Sunday made possible by Craft Contributors.

Application Tips

• Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. There are a very limited number of booth spaces for craft contributors.
• All applications will be juried. Prospective participants should make their best case to the jury with this submission of the application and photos. Applicants should assume their organization is unknown to the jury even if they have participated in the festival in the past.
• Please describe your proposed craft activities fully. Include flier messaging, and any other relevant information.
• Please do NOT answer questions designated OFFICE USE ONLY.  
• THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT.

Organization Criteria

The Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival promotes a theme of landscaping, plants, flowers, gardening, lawn care and outdoor living.  Our jury will select qualifying organizations that actively support the local community and also propose a booth that will enhance the festival in line with our theme.  Among eligible applicants, extra consideration will be given to:   

1. Organizations based in the Town of Leesburg, providing services to Town residents.
2. Organizations based in Loudoun County, providing services to Town of Leesburg residents.
3. Other local, regional, and national organizations, providing services to Town of Leesburg residents.

*Equally qualified applicants will be chosen at random for the very limited number of spots.

Application Deadline for Initial Jury Consideration: March 18, 2026 

Notification of acceptance: NO LATER THAN MARCH 24, 2026

Application closes: April 3, 2026

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: PLEASE RETAIN FOR YOUR RECORDS 

Each craft contributor must be willing to offer the following:

·         Approximately 800+  crafts (400 per day) in the Garden Patch (Family Area) of the Flower & Garden

Festival. Event days and hours are as follows:

Saturday, April 18, 2025, from 10:00am – 6:00pm

Sunday, April 19, 2025, from 10:00am – 5:00pm

·         Staffing: minimum 2 adults, for craft booth during festival hours to assist attendees with craft for both Sat. and Sun.

·         Set-up and clean-up of booth space, please plan to assist staff.

·         Approved company related distribution of material must be done from booth space only; information may not be handed out or distributed outside of booth space at any time.

·         Craft supplies for craft project

Town of Leesburg will provide the following:

·         One 10’ x 10’ booth space in the Garden Patch (Family Area) on Town Green, for craft project..

·         Signage for your booth with organization’s name and craft listed.

·         (1) Tent, (2) tables, table covers

·         Organization listed on event website as Garden Patch craft contributor.
