Nonprofit Organization: 2026 Legacy Community Day & Decatur Earth Day Festival

Welcome! Last year’s event brought in over 1,700 attendees and was featured in Decaturish (200,000 pageviews/month), the City of Decatur Instagram (18,000+ followers), and you can view some recap photos on Decaturish.com. We expect a similar turnout this year, with market vendors, food vendors, and family-friendly activities creating a community atmosphere.

Our 2026 Legacy Community Day Festival will co-hosted with the City of Decatur Environmental Sustainability Board on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11am-2pm at Legacy Park (500 S Columbia Dr, Decatur GA 30030).

The goal of this event is to foster a community at Legacy Park, showcase all of our amazing nonprofits, highlight local businesses & vendors, and create a fun experience for all attendees. 

BUSINESS/VENDOR SELECTION & PAYMENT:

This is an interest form. You will receive an email confirmation when you are scheduled and the invoice is paid. Your business may keep all of the proceeds and is welcome to host a paid activity/service/merchandise (if applicable). In order to participate, a vendor fee will apply to secure your vendor slot. Payments are due upon confirmation as vendor slots are limited.

By participating in this event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all rules and policies set forth by Legacy Decatur.

You further agree to the following terms:

• Insurance Requirement: Legacy Decatur requires all food vendors to carry a general liability insurance policy of at least $1,000,000. Your Certificate of Insurance must list the following as additional insured:
  • Legacy Decatur – 500 South Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30030
  • City of Decatur – 509 N. McDonough Street, Decatur, GA 30030
  • This certificate must be submitted after approval of your vendor application and before participation in any event at Legacy Park.
  • Vendors keep 100% of the proceeds collected during the events.
• All sales are final. For the safety of patrons and vendors, events may be canceled in the case of extreme weather or thunderstorms. These are factors beyond the control of the event organizers.
• At the sole discretion of the event organizer, a credit toward a future event may be offered in lieu of a refund.
• Chargebacks and bank disputes are prohibited. You agree not to initiate any disputes or chargebacks related to your vendor fee.
• Non-compliance with any rules, policies, or terms may result in immediate removal from the event without a refund.
• Vehicle & Grounds Policy: Vendors agree not to drive on the grass at any time, including when entering or exiting the event space. If a vehicle is blocking your access, please kindly ask the staff or vendor to move rather than attempting to drive around them. Driving on the grass causes damage to park grounds and is strictly prohibited. If staff observe you—or another vendor—driving on the grass, you may be banned from future Legacy Park events.
