Craft/Non-Profit Vendor Application for July 1-3

Calling all Craft Vendors!! Come and join us on the farm for great music and a wonderful celebration for all! We are looking for fun and unique vendors for this event. Apply today so we can see what you have to offer! Submission of an application does not assure a vendor space at this event. We will make selections ASAP and you will receive an acceptance, rejection or waitlist reply by email within 2 weeks of submitting your application.We are expecting 3000 people here on the July 1-3 weekend, which is about half the normal crowd size. To assure that everyone has a good chance to have excellent sales, the number of craft booths will also be less than the normal capacity at our past Blue Heron festivals.Fees for craft booths are relative to the amount of frontage. Choices are either 10' frontage x 10' depth ($425), or 20' frontage x 10' depth ($850). We also have a few spaces with 10' frontage x 20' depth ($650).Credit card information will be collected with this application, but only charged after acceptance emails are sent. We will wait 2 days from that time to charge the fees to your card.Fees include wristbands for your staff, plus parking/camping stickers for each of your vehicles. Vendors in 10' spaces receive 2 wristbands and 1 sticker. Vendors in 20' spaces get 4 wristbands and 2 stickers. Overnight camping is included with vending fees. Camping or parking is NOT allowed directly behind your booth. You will be able to unload at your booth and then vehicles must be moved to nearby reserved camping or parking areas. Extra cars should be parked in the Red Lot (no charge).Blanket vending will be available at this event. If you want to blanket vend, do not apply through this application. Buy a regular ticket for the event, then arrive at the blanket vending area at the top of the hill above the stage and pay the fees in cash with the vending coordinator. Hours are Saturday 10-3, Sunday 10-3. Fees $30 per day or $50 for both days. No canopies are allowed, just blankets on the ground to display wears on.Registered vendors may arrive Thursday to set up, any time after 2pm. On Friday vendors will be admitted starting at 9am. Vendors need to be set and ready by Friday early afternoon. The music starts Friday around 3pm and goes almost round the clock till Sunday late afternoon. Refer to the website for a full schedule of the music and plan your hours accordingly. Blue Heron weekend traditionally has late-night business both Friday & Saturday. Craft vendors can close up at dusk, if you prefer.Electric is within reach of vending space, but each vendor needs to bring their own extension cords. Be as efficient as you can. Our electric supply does not allow for air conditioners in RVs.After we select vendors, we will send a request for your payments. At that time, you are also required to submit a certificate of liability from your insurance company listing Great Blue Heron Music Festival and Steve & Julie Rockcastle listed as additional insured on a primary and non-contributory basis with a waiver of subrogation in their favor. All vendors are responsible for collecting and paying sales tax to New York State. Our tax rate is 8%. Some clothing items are tax exempt in Chautauqua County.This is a rain or shine event. Vendor fees are non-refundable.
