About the application
This application is for artists and artisan makers whose work demonstrates originality, craftsmanship, and creative skill. The Garibaldi Festival is evolving into a curated artist-focused event, with an emphasis on fine art, traditional craft, and thoughtfully made goods.

Applicants will be notified about their status within one week of the submission deadline. Applications are reviewed by a committee and evaluated on craftsmanship, originality, presentation, and overall suitability for the event.
Vendor space is limited. Our goal is to create a balanced and engaging artist festival experience that showcases a diverse range of artistic mediums while maintaining a high standard of quality and presentation.
All items must be designed and primarily created by the applicant. Commercially manufactured items, mass-produced components presented as original work, MLMs, and resold goods are not permitted.
Examples of allowed items in this category include, but are not limited to:
Fine Art & Traditional Craft (Priority Consideration):
- Painting, drawing, printmaking
- Ceramics and pottery (wheel-thrown or hand-built)
- Fiber arts (weaving, textile art, embroidery)
- Original jewelry (metalsmithing, silversmithing, beadwork using professional techniques)
- Wood, metal, or glass art
Artisan, Creative Goods, & Activty Vendors (Limited Availability):
- Handmade jewelry using commercial components
- Screen-printed or artist-designed apparel
- Repurposed or upcycled clothing
- Decorative crafts and mixed-media items
- Bath & body products
- Specialty packaged foods and baked goods
- Facepainting
About the event
Terms & Conditions
The City of Belmont reserves the right to approve or deny vendor applications at their discretion. The City of Belmont may close applications to certain types of vendors when the allotted number of vendor spaces are filled. Vendors will receive a receipt of approval and payment confirming they have been approved to attend the event as a vendor.
RULES & REGULATIONS
- VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FURNISHING ALL NECCESSARY ITEMS FOR THEIR BOOTH INCLUDING CHAIRS, TABLES, TENTS, ETC.
- Refunds will only be issued if you notify the event coordinator of your inability to attend and your spot is able to be filled by a comparable vendor AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. If your spot cannot be filled, no refund will be issued.
- This event is rain or shine. Refunds will only be issued in the instance of a total washout prediction.
- Personal vehicles must exit the event area thirty minutes prior to the event start time, and are not allowed re-entry to the event area during the event
- Personal vehicles are NOT allowed in the event area after the vendor set-up timeframe has ended.
- Vendors must leave their event area as it was found upon their arrival
- Please utilize trash bins in the event area to dispose of any waste
- Vendors must arrive during the specified set-up times provided
- Any vendor arriving after the allowable time period will not be allowed to participate in the event
- Artisan vendors must remain at the event until 7:00 PM, unless written permission is provided by the Event Coordinator in advance of the event
- Breaking down and removing items before the conclusion of the event can be dangerous to attendees and is prohibited
- Fireworks of any kind are prohibited from being sold/given away/used at any event. Fireworks in respect to this rule include, but are not limited to: poppers, snap-pops, smoke bombs, bottle rockets, sparklers, daytime fireworks, nighttime fireworks, novelty fireworks, etc. Any vendor with these items may be removed and escorted from the event without refund.

- VENDOR REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY: All application fees are processed upon approval. Refunds for vendor cancellations will only be issued if the following conditions are met: a comparable vendor is secured to fill the spot, and the cancellation notice is submitted to the Community Events Coordinator at least 14 days prior to the event date.
- JURIED APPLICATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT: This is a juried application, and submission does not guarantee acceptance. Applications are reviewed based on artistic quality, originality, craftsmanship, and suitability for the event.
