About the application

This vendor application is for the 2026 City of Eustis, Georgefest Celebration. This is a two day committment and vendors must be present and open for business on the dates and times listed below. Vendor load in will begin early afternoon on 2/27

                             Friday, February 27th - 5:00pm - 10:00pm

                             Saturday, February 28th - 10:00am - 10:00pm

 Food vendors please note "George Bucks'' are certificates that are equivalent to cash and given, in limited quantity, to city staff courtesy of the City of Eustis to purchase food while they are working at the event. ***ALL food and beverage vendors will be required to accept "George Bucks'' as payment for food and beverage during the event. "George Bucks" will be colllected by an Events Staff member at the close of the event on February 28th. Vendors will be reimbursed by check, mailed to the address that is on their vendor application approximately 10-14 business from March 4th. 

About the event

Happy Birthday George! The City of Eustis celebrates George Washington’s Birthday during a week-long, family-friendly event taking place February 21st-28th, 2026. Georgefest is the longest running celebration of George Washington’s Birthday in the State of Florida, and is now the longest, continuously running celebration in the entire United States. This year's CAMP GEORGEFEST celebration will be the 124th year of consecutive celebration!! Featuring nationally touring live musical entertainment, a bass tournament, running of the Georges Race, a dog jog, grand parade, pageant contests, craft and food vendors and carnival rides and games.

Terms & Conditions

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Complete applications must be submitted by Thursday February 16th, 2026, and will not be accepted after the deadline. Vendor space may be sold out prior to the deadline, the events staff may choose to put a vendor on a waitlist . If vendor space becomes available, waitlisted vendors will be notified and charged upon acceptance.

*Applications are considered incomplete without the (if required) items listed above and will not be processed.

 

VENDOR ACCEPTANCE: Applications to be a vendor at City of Eustis events are considered individually based on several qualities, including, but not limited to; type of craft,product,or service, appearence of the display, customer feedback,and professionalism. The Events Department may decline a vendor that is not an ideal fit for the event. Unless otherwise noted,declined vendors are welcome to apply for a future event. For certain vendor types there are required document uploads on the vendor application;like insurance or a menu. If required uploads are not submitted the application is incomplete and will not be considered.  

 

CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS: Cancellations MUST be received by February 4th, 2026. Vendor fees will not be refunded for cancellations made after this date.

 

NO-CALL/NO-SHOWS: If a scheduled vendor does not notify the Events Department that they will be absent for this event, their application will be declined for future events.

 

SPACE: Vendor displays and staff must stay within designated square footage of contracted space.This includes display racks, tables, awnings, trailer tongue, tie downs, etc. Vendors will provide and set up their own tent (suggested but not required) table and chairs. No tent stakes are allowed in Ferran Park. Space assignments will be provided at check-in and not before.

ELECTRICITY: Electricity may be limited. Vendors must indicate their electrical needs on the application. In the event of a waitlist, vendors not requiring electric may be given priority acceptance. Vendors are required to provide a minimum 100-foot extension cord. The City of Eustis cannot provide cords to individual vendors.

 

WATER: The City of Eustis does NOT provide general access to water. If you require water, prior arrangements including an additional fee may be arranged.

 

INSURANCE: All vendors who sell the following must provide a certificate of insurance with the City of Eustis, 10 N Grove St, Eustis, FL 32726 listed as an additionally insured certificate holder. Including but not limited to: food and drink, power equipment, medical health products or services, prescription glasses, face painting, and tattoos etc. This list is not all-inclusive and subject to the event organizers’ review. 

 

 PROHIBITED ITEMS:Excluding firearms and ammunition, vendors are prohibited from selling, exhibiting, displaying, or promoting any type of merchandise or service that may have implicit or explicit content of violence or obscenity (visual or verbal). Excluding firearms and ammunition, no weapons may be displayed nor sold including but not limited to knives, pepper spray, swords, martial arts weapons, etc.

 

RELEASE: I consent to be photographed, videotaped and/or otherwise recorded by the City of Eustis. I grant the right to use my likeness to publish, promote, distribute, modify, or edit any recordings that feature or include my likeness in any media.

 

WAIVER: I agree to waive any and all claims of whatever nature against the City of Eustis, its employees, successors and any volunteers, building owners, and tenants.

 

SAFETY: All food vendors are required to have an approved fire extinguisher in their booth. Any tent over 120 square feet must be labeled as fire-retardant and may require a permit and fee, which is the responsibility of the vendor. Fire extinguishers must be appropriate for the content of the exhibition space (proper A, B, C, and/or K ratings). A fire inspection will be performed prior to the event opening. Vendors are responsible for contacting the Eustis Fire Department, (352) 357-6585 or Lake County Health Department with any questions or to obtain additional information prior to the event. Attached below for your review is the, City of Eustis Fire Department Guidelines for Mobile/Temporary Food Vendors 

 

SECURITY: The Events Department works closely with Eustis Police Department to provide a safe and secure event. Officers will be present throughout the overnight hours; however, the City of Eustis is NOT responsible for any theft, vandalism, damage, or loss of business caused by others.

ALL VENDORS MUST COMPLY WITH ALL STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS, STATUTES, AND REGULATIONS.

All vendors will remain open and set up during the official event hours Friday, February 27th - 5:00pm - 10:00pm and Saturday, February 28th - 10:00am - 10:00pm  No vendors may drive into the event area without permission from the City of Eustis Police or Event Staff. NO stakes of any kind are allowed. This includes tents, feather banners, and yard signs. All vendors are responsible for disposing of their trash in provided trash receptacles. Vendors are NOT permitted to sell any alcoholic beverages including (but not limited to) beer, wine, or liquor without prior approval. The City of Eustis has the right to close any exhibit immediately without refund and to accept or deny vendor exhibits. All sales belong to the vendor. Vendors are solely responsible for collecting and reporting applicable sales tax. All vendors agree to meet the regulations and to pay applicable fees to Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. Vendors are legally and financially responsible for all damages to grounds or other property caused by themselves or their employees.
