This is an electronic agreement and by selecting a food truck, trailer or pop-up vendor space you are validating and approving this agreement with Sun Poppy Markets & Events electronically.
Food Vendor applications will be reviewed; vendor limits will be adhered to when reviewing applications.
NO ITEMS will be allowed if not on the vendor application. If you do not list it, you will not be allowed to sell it.
Set up for the weekly market starts at 2pm each Thursday of the market. Spaces are assigned, please check in at the market table for your assigned space, do not set up prior to checking in.
Tear down for the weekly market is immediatly after the close of the market at 7pm each week. Vendor is responsible for keeping vendor space clean of debris and packaging. NO DISPOSING of CARDBOARD is allowed in the park trash cans or dumpster, all boxes must be taken away by the vendor.
Vendor is responsible for keeping with in their space, the use of signs such as sandwich boards is allowed outside of vendor booth space.
Food Vendors selling food or drink items: Food vendor is responsible for obtaining their Temporary Food Facility Permit with Tuolumne County, this is REQUIRED to be a food vendor; use the link below to apply.

Vendor MUST supply a copy of their Tuolumne County Temporary Food Facility Permit to Sun Poppy Markets & Events PRIOR to the market day.
Food Vendor is responsible for obtaining their ServSafe Certificate and supplying a copy to Sun Poppy Markets & Events prior to the market day.

Acceptance, Fees, Payment Process & Deadlines:
Once food vendor has been approved and accepted payment is required, and the Application/Contract constitutes a legally binding agreement with Sun Poppy Markets & Events for the checked events only. Payment is due at the time of approval of the Application.
No Refunds Policy: All food vendor space sales for events hosted by Sun Poppy Markets & Events (SPME) are final. Once a food vendor space has been reserved and paid for, there will be no refunds issued under any circumstances, including cancellations by the vendor.
This is a rain, snow or sunshine event; no refunds will be given due to weather conditions. No refunds will be given due to earthquake, fire, flood or blocking of the park by the Twain Harte Community Services District (if proper notice has been received by Sun Poppy Markets & Events other/alternate arrangements will be attempted to move the market to another location, if no location is available no refund will be given as the blocking of the park is out of the control of SPME).
Sun Poppy Markets & Events will advertise the market, SPME is not responsible for attendance, sales or weather.
Refunds will be issued should Sun Poppy Markets & Events cancel the market or a date.
No Transfer Policy: Food vendor space reservations are non-transferable. This means once a food vendor space has been purchased, it cannot be transferred to another party, food vendor or event.
Food Vendor fee's will be $75.00 per food vendor Truck or Trailer space and $50.00 per food vendor 10x10 pop-up space, and all booths are to be paid in advance. Every vendor must pay for their first booth date via Eventeny, your next booth fee will be collected at your first market. EXAMPLE: you pay for a food vendor space for July 2nd through Eventeny, you attend on July 2nd and will pay on July 2nd for your next date you wish to attend. All market dates must be paid in advance. If you do not know if you will be attending another date, you may apply and pay again through Eventeny for the date you wish to attend.
Every Week the Market Manager must be told by Tuesday at 6pm if you will be attending the Thursday market. A great deal of planning goes into the market and we want to be sure every vendor who wishes to attend has a food vendor space.
Facility Policies: All pertinent fire codes, laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to health, fire prevention and public safety shall be strictly obeyed and enforced. All tent canopy's must be fire safe (material or sprayed with retardant).
We are a dog friendly market to dogs on leash and who behave. Dogs MUST be on a leash and handled by a person who can control your pet. Behaving means no excessive barking or dog fights, no urinating in/on vendors booth spaces or displays, picking up dog waste immediatly with a bag and disposing of it properly.
Business Insurance: Is required for this market. Please add Sun Poppy Markets & Events and Peitra Rice to your policy coverage to cover all dates you will be in attendance. The market runs from June 4, 2026 through August 13, 2026.
Food Vendor Space: No food vendor is to close prior to 7pm without speaking to the market manager (emergencies happen and we will work with you should one arise). Food vendors closing early may not be invited to future Sun Poppy Markets & Events vendor opportunities. Food vendor spaces for Trucks & Trailers are not to excedd 24 feet from front to back. Booth must be manned during market, if you need a break please see the market manager. Vendor may use a sign outside of their booth such as a sandwich board to display menus and specials.
Amendment/Termination of Contract: SPME shall have full power to interpret and/or to amend any and all rules and regulations. Agreement may be terminated by SPME at any time when/if any of the conditions are breached by the food vendor. Any payments made by the food vendor prior to termination shall be retained by SPME. SPME reserves the right to resell said food vendor space.
Food Vendor Photos: Photos submitted will be used by SPME for advertising the market or event. Photos taken during the market will be used by SPME to advertise the market or event.
