ALL VENDOR APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59pm February 28th, 2026

$150.00 per space for retail, informational & non-profit vendors 

$175.00 per space for pre-packaged food vendors
$300.00 per 10'x10' tent space for fresh prepared food vendors (Sold out Food vendors will be placed on a waitlist)

$600.00 per food truck

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

ALL VENDORS shall procure and maintain for the event insurance against claims for injuries to persons or damages to property which may arise from or in connection with the event and the activities of the vendor, their guests, agents, representatives, employees, or subcontractors, with the following minimum scope and limits of insurance:

 

Commercial General Liability (CGL) on an “occurrence” basis, including property damage, bodily injury, and personal & advertising injury with limits no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. If a general aggregate limit applies, either the general aggregate limit shall apply separately to this project/location, or the general aggregate limit shall be twice the required occurrence limit ($2,000,000).

 

The insurance policies are to contain, or be endorsed to contain, the following Additional Insured Status:

 

The City of Murrieta, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers are to be covered as additional insureds on the CGL policy with respect to liability arising out of or resulting from the Vendor’s participation in the event on 04/18/2026.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

  1. If you live in, or your business is based in the city of Murrieta, a current Murrieta business license is required.
  2. If you do NOT live in, or your business is not based in the city of Murrieta, a Temporary Vendor's Permit from the City of Murrieta for the BBQ is required. You will need to add the Temporary Vendor Permit to your cart below.

About the event

Murrieta Fire & Rescue (MFR) is hosting its annual Firefighter’s Barbecue on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Murrieta’s Town Square Park and Amphitheater.

Terms & Conditions

Murrieta Fire & Rescue reserves the right to deny the vendor’s request once the application is reviewed by staff. You will be contacted if there is some reason we cannot process your application. Booth space is not guaranteed until all necessary paperwork and payment is received. 

 

The undersigned acknowledges that each vendor space is 10’ wide x 10’ deepIf you need additional space for prep or cooking, or IF YOU HAVE A FOOD TRUCK, you must purchase enough booth spaces to accommodate your needs.  Vendors must provide their own canopy, table and any other supplies needed.  No vehicles permitted to park next to or by their vendor booth. Vendors may unload at their booth and then move immediately. Street will be shut down by 10:00 a.m. or earlier when safety dictates. 


The vendor shall hold harmless, defend and indemnify the City of Murrieta and its officers, officials, employees and volunteers from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, expense, costs (including without limitation costs and fees of litigation) of every nature arising out of or in connection with Vendor’s participation in the event, performance of work, or its failure to comply with any of its obligations contained in the agreement, except such loss or damage which was caused by the sole negligence or willful misconduct of the City.


The undersigned acknowledges that there is NO WATER OR ELECTRICAL HOOK UP AVAILABLE. All vendors must be completely set-up by 11:00 a.m. and are asked not to break down their displays until after 4:00 p.m. It is the vendor’s responsibility to remove all trash in their area before leaving.

Prices

Food Truck $600.00 Non-refundable Space is for 1 food truck.
Retail, Informational & Non-Profit Vendors $150.00 Non-refundable Booth space is 10' x 10' for retail, informational & non-profit vendors only.
Pre-Packaged Food Vendor $175.00 Non-refundable Booth space is 10' x 10' for pre-packaged food vendors.
Fresh Food Vendor (10'x10' Tent) $300.00 Non-refundable Booth space is 10' wide x 10' deep (tents only. No trucks). If you need additional space for prep or cooking, you must purchase enough booth spaces to accommodate your needs.
1 Day $1M/$2M Liability Insurance $25.00 Non-refundable Liability Insurance MUST be purchased if you do not provide the minimum requirements of $1 million/$2 million.
Temporary Vendor Permit $12.52 Non-refundable If you do not have a City of Murrieta Business License, and do not live or have a business presence in the City of Murrieta, you MUST purchase a Temporary Vendor Permit.
