About the application
Welcome to Smol Art Mart's Annual Market Artist Application! We are a non-profit run by a few artists, and aim to help new artists break into the tabling scene as well as uplift the PNW art scene. This event is free, family friendly, and welcomes art of all kinds. We invite artists (both full table and sharing artists) and food vendors to apply! See information below.

About the event
Terms & Conditions
Before you apply, please read the following:
- Open and read the vendor contract attached in the link at the end of this application. If your application gets approved, you are agreeing to the terms of this contract.
- Although we aim to uplift the PNW art scene, we still welcome new and veteran artists outside of the PNW area!
- All participants in Smol Art Mart must be at least 18 years old.
- Everything sold at the table must be made by the artist/creator. Resale of items that are not created by the artist will not be permitted for sale or display.
- This is a family friendly event. Adult content and material will not be permitted for sale or display.
- Artificial intelligence (AI) content and material will not be permitted for sale or display.
- Sharing Artists may request who they want to share tables with.
- All artists must be available to table on both days, we will not be accepting any one day tabling.
- All artists/studios participating in our market are required to obtain a Washington State Requirement (UBI) for the state of Washington. This is not required now but will be required at the time of acceptance (within 30 days of acceptance). We do not need to collect your UBI.
- Artists must provide a valid Seattle Business License Number (mandatory for Seattle addresses and existing license holders) on their application, or supply it within 30 days of acceptance to avoid table cancellation, unless they explicitly qualify to write "Exempt" because they are based outside Seattle.
- We will have a waitlist in case we have any openings available. Those on the waitlist will only be contacted if there are any openings.
- More information and acceptance emails will be provided for the selected artists in April.

Take your time writing the application, this is a portfolio review and not first come first serve.
Applying multiple times or on different application types will not increase your chances to be selected. Acceptances can be expected in April 2026.

Both sharing artists need to mutually agree and note each other's art handles in the "neighbor requests" section. You may list more than one artist's handle. If you don't have a preference, please leave it blank and our team will match you with another sharing artist -Sharing artists are permitted to bring one (1) helper each. Please note there will only be one (1) chair provided per sharing artist -Your card will not be charged unless your application is approved. |
