As the longest-running craft show in Schererville Parks and Recreation history, this event has grown into our most attended and biggest show of the year. It’s a holiday tradition for thousands of families and the go-to destination for seasonal shopping! Don’t miss out on all the fun, creativity, and holiday cheer!

Terms & Conditions
THIS APPLICATION IS FOR THE HOMAN SCHOOL LOCATION.
Applications will be reviewed individually by the Schererville Parks and Recreation team. Vendor space may be limited for businesses offering similar products. Not all applications may be accepted. Wholesalers, flea market products, or previously used merchandise will not be permitted. Schererville Parks and Recreation reserves the right to decline applications that do not meet quality standards or are deemed inappropriate for the event.
Fee: The vendor fee covers (1) outdoor food truck or food vendor space. Please note that only (110) electricity is available for purchase. Water is not available.
Payment: Payment will be taken directly upon approval of applications. Vendors must provide a viable card with vendor application. Failure to do so will result in immediate denial of your application. If vendor cannot pay at the time of submitting applicaiton, please wait until able to do so.
Set-Up/Take-Down: Set-up will be available on Friday, November 6, from 7:30pm-10pm and Saturday, November 7, from 5am-8am. Vendors are required to fully unload their vehicles and promptly move them to the designated parking area at Redar Park (217 Gregory St., Schererville, IN). A school bus will shuttle crafters between Redar Park and Homan School. A staff member will be on-site to monitor the unloading zone and ensure vehicles are moved efficiently. Take-down must be completed by 4:00 PM on the final day of the event. A set-up email with detailed instructions will be sent two weeks prior to the event.
Sales Tax: Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax.
ALL FOOD VENDORS ARE REPSONSIBLE TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:
- A certificate of insurance naming the "TOWN OF SCHERERVILLE, THE SCHERVILLE PARKS & RECREATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS, & ITS DULY AUTHORIZED AGENTS & EMPLOYEES" as the certificate holder and additional insured one week prior. There are specific criteria your certificate of insurance must include. Please see the Certificate of Insurance sample below for reference.
- All vendors will be responsible for having a posted and visible County Health Permit and a 10lb. ABC fire extinguisher with current certification tag. Vendors will not be allowed to set up or operate if all requirements are not met and are subject to inspection by local fire department officials.

Important Policies:
The following are grounds for removal from the event and exclusion from future Schererville Parks craft shows:
1. Leaving Early: Leaving the event before the official end time is not allowed. This disrupts the event for everyone involved. If an early departure is necessary, you must communicate with the Parks Department in advance.
2. Arriving Late: Vendors must be set up and ready for business by 8am on both days. "Ready for business" means someone must be at the booth, and it should be open for customers.
3. Parking: Parking is limited. Food vendors are allotted up to (2) spaces onsite. All other vehicles must park at Redar Park. Unauthorized parking in restricted areas is not permitted.
4. Respect: Kindness and respect are expected from all participants. Treat everyone and everything with courtesy.
Rules:
- Vendors may not attach decorations to any outside structure.
- Direct sales businesses are limited to one vendor per company, based on first-come, first-served registration.
- No vendor is permitted to sell guns, knives, or any items considered weapons.
- All merchandise and displays must remain within the designated booth area.
- Vendors must keep their assigned space clean and remove all trash at the end of the event.
- Soliciting other vendors or patrons for any purpose outside of your designated area is prohibited.
- Vendors are required to participate for the entire duration of the event. Failure to comply may result in a one-year ban from future events with the Schererville Parks Department.
- Schererville Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel events due to insufficient registration.

Waiver & Release Of All Claims: The participant in this event/program, recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and I agree and assume the full risk of any injuries, including death, damages or loss which the participant (s) may sustain as a result of participating in all activities connected with or associated with such program. I, the participant in this event/program, agree to waive and relinquish all claims that I or the participants may have as a result of participating in the programs against the above named entity and its agents, officers, servants, and employees. I, the participant in this event/program agree to fully release and discharge the above named and its officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims for injuries, including death, damage or loss which I or any participants may have or which occur to me or the participants on account of participation in the above programs. I, the participant in this event/program further agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the above named entity and its officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims resulting from injuries, including death, damages, and/or losses sustained by the participants and arising out of, connecting with, or in any way associated with the activities of the above programs. I have read and fully understand the above program details and I fully understand that “This is a release of all claims”.

REFUND POLICY: All vendor fees are non-transferable and non-creditable. Vendors who cancel 30+ days before the event may receive a 50% refund with written notice. No refunds are given for cancellations made within 30 days or for no-shows. If the event is canceled by the organizer, vendors will receive a 70% refund, unless the event has already begun or is fully set up—in which case no refunds are issued. The event will not be rescheduled, and no credits or alternate dates will be offered. All events are rain or shine.
