About the event

Our Thomasville community Spring Daze is a lively, family-friendly celebration welcoming the season of renewal. The event features a variety of artisan vendors offering handmade goods, local plant vendors with flowers, herbs, and garden favorites, and delicious food vendors serving up sweet and savory treats. Kids can enjoy colorful inflatable attractions and fun activities throughout the day, making it a perfect outing for families. With something for everyone, the festival brings neighbors together to shop, eat, play, and celebrate spring.

Terms & Conditions

 

FOOD VENDORS

 

PLEASE READ CLOSELY:  These rules and regulations are part of your show contract, and are strictly adhered to:

 

1.    PRODUCTS: It is very important to write down ALL products that you wish to sell. Adding an item to your menu might be possible, but it must be approved by the festival coordinator. It is our intent to maintain some diversification of food and beverage products for festival vendors. If you’re straight and honest with us, we’ll be straight and honest with you.

 

2.    BOOTH FEE’S & REFUNDS:  Cancellations prior to April 3 are subject to a $25.00 administration fee.  Once booth space has been assigned (April 10), there will be no refunds. Each vendor will be responsible for their own collection and reporting of sales tax to the North Carolina Department of Revenue, Sales and Use Tax Division.

 

3.    HEALTH & FIRE SAFETY: As usual, the county health department and city fire department will be inspecting. It is your responsibility to be in contact with these departments – IN ADVANCE – to insure compliance with applicable regulations and permits.

 

4.    INSURANCE: You must be insured.  A Certificate of Liability Insurance must be submitted with application for you to be considered.

 

5.    The vending organization is responsible for furnishing necessary booths, tables, counters, utensils, etc.  It is imperative that ALL booths and food utensils be inspected and approved by the Davidson County Health Department.  

 

6.    Spring Daze and Thomasville Chamber of Commerce WILL NOT provide power.  It is the vending organizations responsibility to provide its own power.  Do not count on the city power, as it is no guarantee.  

 

7.    TENTS AND COVERINGS:  Because of the North Carolina Prevention Code, all tents must be certified as flame resistant in accordance with NFPA 701.  No other tents, canopies or pliable structures will be allowed.  The Thomasville Fire Department does inspect and enforce fire prevention regulations.  These regulations can sometimes change.  To ensure smooth operations, the festival encourages the vending organization to contact the Fire Department in advance of the event.

 

8.    All food booths with open flames or heating elements must have a minimum 5-pound ABC fire extinguisher (type 2A 10BC).

 

9.    Thomasville City Ordinance Section 54-13 prohibits pets, silly strings, party strings, stink bombs, bicycles, skateboards, scooters or items of similar nature that cause problems for other people or property.  The Police Department does enforce this ordinance.  Violations will result in removal from the festival and ineligibility for future festivals.  Noted and obvious exceptions include wheelchairs for handicapped as well as official service animals.  

 

10.  The festival and its sponsors are not liable for injury or theft occurring during the festival.

 

11.  Thomasville Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to accept or reject any booth application or product for any reason that they deem appropriate.

 

Vendor space assignments and important day-of-event instructions, including the Vendor Layout and Parking Map, will be forwarded to all registered vendors via email by Friday, April 10, 2026.  Vendors should review all forwarded documentation prior to festival day.

Application fees $125.00 Non-refundable There is a $25 non-refundable application fee which is charged upon application.
