All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.

STREET VENDORS

PLEASE READ CLOSELY:  These rules and regulations are part of your show contract, and are strictly adhered to:

1.    SPACE ASSIGNMENTS:  Notice of space assignment will be e-mailed in early by April 10.  Spaces will be assigned according to vendor needs and the needs of the festival.  Space assignments are based upon several factors including longevity of participation, early application date, and types of products.  Requests for specific spaces are difficult to fulfill.  Assignments will be made at the discretion of the festival committee.  Booth spaces are assigned for each separate vendor.  Sub-letting or sharing is not allowed.

2.    BOOTH FEE’S & REFUNDS:  Cancellations prior to April 3 are subject to a $25.00 administration fee. Returned checks will be assessed a $25 fee. Once booth space has been assigned (April 10), there will be no refunds. Each vendor will be responsible for their own collection and reporting of sales tax to the North Carolina Department of Revenue, Sales and Use Tax Division.

3.    DISPLAY MATERIAL:  Vendors must furnish all necessary set-up materials, i.e., tables, chairs, display racks, tents, etc.  Set-ups should be substantial enough to withstand wind, rain, and crowds.  Rain gear may be helpful as this is an outside street festival and a rain or shine event.

4.    SPACE SIZES:  Spaces measure approximately 20’ wide x 10’ deep.  They are curbside (back to the curb) along the street and are the size of a parking space.  

5.    This festival is family oriented for visitors of all ages; therefore, work must be in keeping with this atmosphere.  The festival staff shall have the sole discretion to require the removal of work that violates any of the festival rules.

6.    Thomasville City Ordinance Section 54-13 prohibits pets, silly strings, party strings, stink bombs, bicycles, skateboards, scooters or items of similar nature that cause problems for other people or property.  The Police Department does enforce this ordinance.  Violations will result in removal from the festival and ineligibility for future festivals.  Noted and obvious exceptions include wheelchairs for handicapped as well as official service animals.  

7.    The festival and its sponsors are not liable for injury or theft occurring during the festival.

8.    Thomasville Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to accept or reject any booth application or product for any reason that they deem appropriate.

Vendor spaces are granted on a first come basis. The cost per space is listed below. If you need a space larger than the size below, you will need to purchase 2 spaces.  Application fees will not be refunded in the event of vendor cancellations or no-shows after April 3, 2026. Cancellations prior to April 3, 2026 are subject to a $25.00 administration fee.  

***** Electricity is NOT available for Street Vendors or Food Court vendors. It is the vending organizations responsibility to provide its own power.*****

Vendor space assignments and important day-of-event instructions, including the Vendor Layout and Parking Map, will be forwarded to all registered vendors via email by Friday, April 10, 2026.  Vendors should review all forwarded documentation prior to festival day. 

My signature below denotes that I have read, understand and will abide by the Spring Daze Festival Rules & Procedures.

By signing this registration form, I acknowledge that the Spring Daze Festival is subject to various weather conditions (no rain date and no refund of application fees or deposits). Following the event, I will collect, bag, and properly dispose of all trash and/or debris in the trash receptacles provided.

Furthermore, in consideration of my participation in the aforementioned Spring Daze Festival, I hereby discharge and release the City of Thomasville and the Thomasville Area Chamber of Commerce and any and all employees of the agents or volunteers thereof from all claims of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of the above said employees or agents to the extent allowed by law.
