2026 Christmas in the Park – Community & Engagement Booths
About the application
This application is for community organizations, nonprofits, schools, churches, clubs, and local groups interested in hosting a Community & Engagement Booth at Christmas in the Park, held on Saturday, December 5th from 3:00–6:00 PM.
Christmas in the Park is a family-friendly holiday event designed to bring the community together through lights, activities, and seasonal fun. Community & Engagement Booths are intended to provide interactive games, activities, crafts, outreach, or engagement opportunities for children and families.
There is no fee to participate under this category.
Purpose of Community & Engagement Booths
These booths are designed to:
- Offer fun, festive games or activities
- Provide hands-on crafts or kid-friendly experiences
- Promote community engagement and connection
- Share information about programs or services in a positive, interactive way
- Selling items or fundraising is not permitted under this category.
General Information & Event Protocol
- All activities, materials, and decorations must be family-friendly and holiday appropriate
- Participants must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and supplies
- Electricity is not provided
- No food preparation or food sales are permitted
- All participants must follow instructions from Parks staff and event officials
Setup & Breakdown
- Setup and load-in times will be provided to approved participants closer to the event
- Vehicles must be removed from booth areas prior to the event opening
- Booths are expected to remain set up for the duration of the event
- Participants are responsible for leaving their space clean and free of trash
- Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Applications will be reviewed to ensure a balanced mix of activities and a positive holiday experience for attendees.

Terms & Conditions
By submitting an application, the participant agrees to the following terms and conditions:
- Christmas in the Park will be held on Saturday, December 5th from 3:00–6:00 PM.
- Participation under this category is free; however, submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
- Community & Engagement Booths are intended for interactive activities, games, crafts, outreach, or engagement purposes only. Selling items or fundraising is not permitted.
- All booth activities, decorations, and materials must be family-friendly and holiday appropriate.
- Participants must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, decorations, and supplies. Electricity is not provided.
- No food preparation or food sales are permitted under this category.
- No open flames, heaters, generators, or powered equipment are permitted unless approved in advance.
- Booths must be set up in a safe and secure manner and remain within the assigned space.
- Setup must be completed within the designated load-in timeframe. Vehicles must be removed from booth areas prior to the event opening.
- Booths are expected to remain set up and operational for the duration of the event unless approved otherwise by event staff.
- Participants must follow all instructions from Parks staff, event officials, and emergency personnel at all times.
- Participants are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe booth area and for removing all materials and trash at the conclusion of the event.
- The City is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
- The City reserves the right to remove any participant who fails to comply with event rules, safety requirements, or operational expectations.
- The event will take place rain or shine unless severe weather requires changes or cancellation.
