Band Application

This is a friendly competition for local bands to showcase their best original music live at stARTup Studios in Macon. Selected bands will perform a short set of their strongest songs in front of judges and a live audience for a chance to win cash prizes, free recording time, and more.

If you’re ready to take the stage, connect with the local music community, and compete in a fun, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you!

-All music performed must be original. No covers.

-Bands must perform live. No backing tracks or pre-recorded vocals/instrumentals.

-Each band will be given a set performance time and must stay within that limit.

-Bands must arrive on time for load-in, soundcheck, and their scheduled performance.

-All members are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward staff, judges, other bands, and attendees.

-Bands are responsible for their own instruments and gear unless otherwise stated.

-stARTup Studios is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.
Judges’ decisions are final.

-Bands grant permission for stARTup Studios to photograph and record performances for promotional use.

-Failure to follow these terms may result in disqualification without compensation.
