Certified Farmers & Food Vendors
All food vendors must comply with City of Vacaville and Solano County Health Department requirements:
- City of Vacaville Business License
- Copy of Seller’s Permit
- Photo of Driver’s License/ID
- Solano County Health Permit
- Solano County Temporary Food Facility Permit
- Fire Code Permit (for onsite cooking)
- Certified Producer's Certificate
- Certificate of Liability Insurance- Primary/non-contributory insurance endorsements ($1M per occurrence & $2M aggregate)
- Signed Release of Liability Waiver (see documents)
We’re excited to offer two types of memberships for vendors: Annual Membership and Seasonal Quarterly Membership. Here’s how being a member benefits you compared to being a non-member:
Membership Options (*Onetime Membership fee):
- Annual Membership: $120/year (4 quarters)
- Seasonal Quarterly Membership: $50/quarter
Member Benefits:
- Guaranteed Market Spot: Reserve your place for the entire season or year, ensuring you never miss out.
- Discounted Weekly Rates: Save money every week as a valued member.
- Priority Placement: Members receive first consideration for market spots.
- Community Commitment: Members commit to a full season or year, creating a reliable and vibrant vendor experience. (Absences must be approved by the Market Manager.)
- Limited Spots: Spaces are exclusive and fill up quickly—apply early to secure yours!
Non-Member Details:
- No Guaranteed Spot: Participation is first-come, first-served and subject to availability.
- Standard Weekly Rates: Pay the regular rate.
- Flexible Attendance: No seasonal or annual commitment required—join when it’s convenient for you.
- One-Time Application Fee: $20 to apply.
Important Note:
All vendors, whether members or non-members, are responsible for weekly fees and any additional add-on fees.

Setup & Breakdown
- Vendors must unload by 7:45 a.m. and keep all items within their designated booth space.
- A 20-foot clearance must be maintained for emergency vehicles.
- Do not break down early; violations may result in probation
Cleanliness
- Keep your area clean and dispose of trash responsibly. Vendors providing samples must have a trash receptacle onsite.
Attendance
- Vendors missing 2 consecutive markets without approval from the Market Manager may lose their membership status.
Conduct
- Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited during market hours.
