Butner Summer Festival Vendor Application
About the application
The Butner Summer Festival is an annual community event held at Gazebo Park on Central Avenue. The festival will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will feature a barbeque chicken cook-off, live entertainment, a classic car show, craft and food vendors, and children’s activities. This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event. Admission and parking are free for attendees.
12 x 12 Vendor spaces are available for food vendors, artists, makers, and exhibitors. The vendor fee is $100.00 per space. Limited spaces with access to electricity are available for an additional $25.00 ($125.00 total). Vendor spaces are assigned upon approval and payment. Vendors are responsible for their own setup and breakdown and must provide all necessary equipment, including tents, tables, chairs, and extension cords if needed. All vendor setups must be completed by 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and vendors are expected to remain set up for the entire event. Vehicles may re-enter the festival area for breakdown after 4:00 p.m., and all equipment must be removed by 6:30 p.m.
**IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FOOD VENDORS**
Food vendors are required to have a valid health department permit and must also obtain a Town of Butner Temporary Use Permit to operate within town limits. The Town permit carries an additional $50.00 fee and is valid for 365 days from the date of issuance. Vendors should apply for this permit AFTER approval for the festival. All vendors must fit entirely within their assigned space and remain set up for the duration of the event. Vehicles must be removed from the festival area prior to the event start and will not be permitted back in until the festival concludes.
Additional event logistics and vendor instructions will be shared with approved vendors closer to the event date.

By submitting an application, the vendor agrees to the following terms and conditions set forth by the Town of Butner:
Application & Acceptance
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. The Town of Butner reserves the right to accept or deny any application to ensure a balanced and appropriate mix of vendors.
Fees & Payments
Vendor fees, if applicable, are due upon acceptance and must be paid by the deadline provided. Failure to submit payment by the deadline may result in forfeiture of the vendor space.
Cancellations & Refunds
Vendor fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. The event will take place rain or shine. Weather-related cancellations will be determined by the Town of Butner and refunds are not guaranteed.
Compliance & Permits
Vendors are responsible for obtaining all required licenses, permits, and approvals, including health department permits and fire safety requirements, prior to the event.
Set-Up & Breakdown
Vendors must arrive during designated load-in times and remain set up for the duration of the event. Early breakdown is not permitted without prior approval.
Booth Appearance & Conduct
Vendors must maintain a clean, safe, and professional booth space. All activities and merchandise must be family-friendly. The Town of Butner reserves the right to remove any vendor who does not comply with event rules or conduct standards.
Space & Equipment
Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs, and equipment unless otherwise noted. All displays must remain within the assigned space.
Generators
Generators must be approved and operated safely, with minimal noise and proper ventilation.
Sales & Products
Vendors may only sell or distribute items approved in their application. Unauthorized items or changes to products may result in removal from the event.
Photography & Promotion
Vendors grant the Town of Butner permission to use photographs or video taken during the event for promotional purposes.
Event Changes
The Town of Butner reserves the right to make changes to event details, vendor layout, or logistics as necessary.
