About the application
Art vendors are welcome to showcase and sell original artwork celebrating Black history, culture, heritage, and creativity. Accepted art forms include, but are not limited to, painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, digital art, textile art, and other multimedia works.
Art Vendor Guidelines
All artwork must be original and created by the exhibiting artist or collective.
Mass-produced or commercially manufactured items are not permitted unless they are part of an original artistic process.
Artists may sell finished pieces, prints, and limited-edition reproductions of their original work.
Live art demonstrations are permitted if they do not create excessive noise, fumes, or safety hazards.
All displays, easels, pedestals, and equipment must remain within the assigned booth space.
Artwork and display materials may not block aisles, exits, or neighboring booths.
Artists are responsible for safely securing all artwork and display structures.
Any multimedia or electronic displays must comply with event electrical guidelines.
Content & Conduct
Artwork should be appropriate for a family-friendly community event.
The City of Morrow reserves the right to remove any artwork deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or in violation of event policies.
Artists must remain present at their booth for the duration of the event unless approved by event management.
Set-Up & Tear-Down
Art vendors must follow assigned set-up and tear-down schedules.
All artwork and display materials must be removed at the conclusion of the event.

Art Vendor Terms & Conditions
Black History Month Event – Morrow Center (One-Day Event)
These Terms and Conditions apply to all art vendors participating in the Black History Month event at the Morrow Center. By submitting an application and/or participating in the event, vendors agree to comply with all policies outlined below.
1. Eligibility & Artwork Standards
Art vendors must be the original creator of all artwork displayed or sold.
Accepted art forms include painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, digital art, textile art, and other multimedia works.
Mass-produced, imported, or commercially manufactured items are prohibited unless incorporated into an original artistic process.
The City of Morrow reserves the right to reject or remove artwork that is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the mission of the event.
2. Application Review & Approval
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
The City of Morrow reserves the right to accept or deny any application at its sole discretion.
Approved artists will be assigned a booth location. Booth assignments are final and not negotiable.
3. Fees & Payment
Art vendor fees (if applicable) must be paid in full by the stated deadline.
Fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the City of Morrow.
Failure to attend or participate on the day of the event will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
4. Booth Conduct & Display Rules
All artwork, displays, and equipment must remain within the assigned booth space.
Displays may not block aisles, exits, or neighboring booths.
Vendors may not solicit attendees outside of their booth area.
Loud or disruptive behavior, unsafe display methods, or activities that interfere with other vendors are prohibited.
5. Live Art & Demonstrations
Live painting or demonstrations are permitted if approved in advance.
Demonstrations must not involve open flames, hazardous materials, strong fumes, or excessive noise.
All demonstration activities must comply with facility safety regulations.
6. Set-Up, Operation & Tear-Down
Artists must follow all assigned set-up and tear-down schedules.
Booths must remain fully staffed and operational for the entire duration of the event.
Early tear-down is not permitted without written approval from event management.
All artwork and materials must be removed immediately after the event concludes.
7. Safety & Electrical Use
Artists using lighting, digital displays, or multimedia equipment must comply with all electrical safety guidelines.
Surge protectors and extension cords must be in good condition and safely secured.
Overloaded circuits or unsafe setups must be corrected immediately upon request.
8. Liability & Responsibility
Artists are solely responsible for the safety and security of their artwork, displays, and equipment.
The City of Morrow and the Morrow Center are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vendor property.
Artists agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Morrow, the Morrow Center, and event staff from any claims, injuries, or damages arising from participation in the event.
9. Compliance & Enforcement
Event staff and City of Morrow personnel have full authority to enforce these Terms and Conditions.
Failure to comply may result in immediate corrective action or removal from the event without refund.
Serious or repeated violations may result in exclusion from future City of Morrow events.
Vendor Agreement
By submitting an application and/or participating in the Black History Month event, the art vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with all Terms and Conditions stated above.
