Vendor Categories & Requirements
1. Food Vendors
Food vendors must follow all facility and fire-safety requirements.

Cooking & Heating Rules

No propane cooking or warming inside the building.
No indoor cooking of any kind.
All cooking must be conducted outside, at least 15 feet from the building, and must not block exit doors.
Air fryers and similar electric cooking appliances are prohibited inside.
Food warming (such as chafing cans) is permitted inside but must be kept clear of any combustible materials.
Event-Day Requirements

Food vendors must maintain cleanliness and proper food-safety practices throughout the event.
All equipment must be shut down at closing time and must never be left unattended while fueled or heated.
 
2. Merchandise Vendors
Merchandise vendors must keep their booth area safe, organized, and contained.

Booth Rules

All products, displays, and equipment must remain within the assigned booth area.
Merchandise may not block aisles, exits, or neighboring booths.
Loud displays or activities that interfere with other vendors are not permitted.
Event-Day Requirements

All merchandise and displays must be removed at the end of the event.
The City of Morrow and the Morrow Center are not liable for lost or stolen items.
 
3. Non-Profit Booths
Non-profit organizations may use their space to share information, offer services, or promote community initiatives.

Booth Rules

All materials must remain within the assigned booth.
Soliciting outside the booth (approaching attendees elsewhere) is not permitted.
Activities may not obstruct foot traffic or neighboring booths.
Event-Day Requirements

All display materials and items of value must be removed at the conclusion of the event.
 
4. For-Profit Organizations
For-profit vendors offering services, demonstrations, or outreach must follow general booth conduct standards.

Booth Rules

All signage, promotional materials, and displays must stay within booth boundaries.
No soliciting customers outside of your designated space.
Demonstrations must not produce excessive noise or interfere with neighboring vendors.
Event-Day Requirements

All equipment, displays, and materials must be removed at the end of the event.
Any audio/visual equipment must be powered off before teardown.
 
Rules for ALL Vendors
Booth Conduct & Non-Interference
Vendors must not interfere with other vendor booths in any way.
No encroaching, blocking sightlines, loud disruptions, or soliciting in another vendor’s space.
All vendor activities must remain within the assigned booth footprint.
 
Vehicles Inside the Building (if applicable)
Vehicles must contain no more than 5 gallons of fuel or less than ¼ tank, whichever is less.
Battery must be disconnected once positioned.
Engines must be shut off immediately after entering; vehicles should be pushed into final position.
 
Parking & Building Access
No parking in red-curb zones.
No parking near the rear loading dock, especially where the Fire Department Connection (FDC) is located.
Vendor load-in and load-out schedules must be followed.
 
Electrical Safety
Vendors must carefully manage the use of surge protectors and extension cords.
Overloading circuits or using damaged cords is strictly prohibited.
 
Open Flames
Open flames (candles, torches, fire acts) are generally prohibited.
Exceptions require prior written approval from the facility representative.
 
Event Policies
Set-Up and Tear-Down
Vendors will receive scheduled set-up times prior to the event.
All booths must be fully torn down and cleared immediately after the event concludes.
Attendance
Vendors are expected to staff their booths for the full duration of the event unless cleared by event management.

 

Agreement
By submitting your application as a Food Vendor, Merchandise Vendor, Non-Profit Booth, or For-Profit Organization, you acknowledge and agree to follow all rules and event procedures listed above. These policies ensure a safe, compliant, and successful event for everyone involved.

Terms & Conditions

Vendor Terms & Conditions
Black History Event – Morrow Center (One-Day Event)

These Terms and Conditions apply to all vendors participating in the Black History event at the Morrow Center. By submitting an application and/or participating in the event, vendors agree to comply with all policies listed below.

 
1. Vendor Eligibility & Approval
The City of Morrow reserves the right to accept or reject any vendor application at its sole discretion.
Vendor categories include Food Vendors, Merchandise Vendors, Non-Profit Booths, and For-Profit Organizations.
Accepted vendors will be assigned a booth location. Booth assignments are not negotiable.
 
2. Fees & Payment
Vendor fees (if applicable) must be paid in full by the stated deadline.
Fees are non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation by the City of Morrow.
Vendors who fail to participate on the day of the event forfeit all fees paid.
 
3. Booth Conduct & Non-Interference
Vendors must remain within their assigned booth space at all times.
Vendors may not interfere with the visibility, operation, or customer flow of other booths.
No soliciting, distributing flyers, or approaching attendees outside of your booth footprint.
Loud noises, disruptive demonstrations, or unsafe activities are prohibited.
 
4. Set-Up, Operation & Tear-Down
Vendors must follow all set-up and tear-down schedules provided by event staff.
All booths must remain fully staffed and operational for the entire duration of the event.
No early tear-down is allowed without written approval from event management.
Vendors assume full responsibility for securing their property during the event.
 
5. Safety Regulations
All vendors must comply with facility and fire-safety rules, including:

Air fryers and similar electric cooking appliances are prohibited indoors.
Indoor food warming is permitted only with chafing cans and must be kept away from combustible materials.
Electrical Use

Surge protectors and extension cords must be used safely and may be inspected by event staff.
Overloaded circuits or unsafe electrical setups must be corrected immediately.
Open Flames

Open flames (candles, torches, fire performances) are prohibited unless pre-approved in writing.
Vehicles Inside the Building (if applicable)

Vehicles must contain no more than 5 gallons of fuel or less than ¼ tank, whichever is less.
Batteries must be disconnected once vehicles are in position.
Engines must be shut off immediately upon entry, and vehicles must be pushed into final placement.
 
6. Parking & Access
No parking in red-curb areas.
Parking is prohibited near the rear loading dock and Fire Department Connection (FDC).
Vendors must follow assigned load-in and load-out instructions for the event day.
 
7. Insurance & Responsibility
Vendors are responsible for carrying any required permits or insurance applicable to their operations (e.g., food service permits, liability insurance).
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Morrow, the Morrow Center, and event staff from any claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from vendor participation.
 
8. Compliance & Enforcement
Event staff and City of Morrow personnel have the authority to enforce all rules.
Vendors who fail to comply may be required to correct the issue immediately or may be removed from the event without refund.
Serious or repeated violations may result in prohibition from future City of Morrow events.
 
9. Event Changes or Cancellation
The City of Morrow reserves the right to modify event hours, vendor placement, or logistics as needed.
In the event of cancellation by the City of Morrow, vendor fees (if paid) will be refunded.
The City of Morrow is not responsible for losses due to weather, acts of nature, or circumstances beyond its control.
 
Vendor Agreement
By submitting this application and participating in the event, the vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all Terms and Conditions stated above. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
