About the application

The Krampus Kraft Market is a signature attraction of Krampusnacht Bremerton, a large-scale, immersive winter festival that draws thousands of attendees to downtown Bremerton each December. The market features artists, makers, and small businesses whose work aligns with the dark folklore, gothic winter, fantasy, and traditional Krampus themes that define the festival’s identity and visual culture.

The market spans Pacific Ave, Quincy Square, and the second floor of Gastro Pup, creating a multi-location shopping experience woven into the larger festival environment. Vendors benefit from high visibility alongside the Krampuslauf parade, live music performances, photo experiences, participating brick-and-mortar businesses, and food vendors. Attendance continues to grow each year, attracting an enthusiastic, engaged audience eager to support unique, thematic, and handmade goods.

This is a juried and curated market. Applications are reviewed to ensure a strong mix of products, consistent thematic alignment, and an overall market experience that feels immersive, cohesive, and exciting for attendees. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, and booth placement is determined by the festival to support crowd flow, safety, and operational needs.

Market Environments
Outdoor Market Experience

Outdoor vendors are placed in 10' x 10' festival-supplied rented tents, enclosed on three sides to create separation between booths. Festival-provided tent lighting is included. Outdoor vendors should be prepared for winter conditions, including cold temperatures, wind, rain, or snow. Power and heating are not provided. Vendors must supply appropriate tent weights and any required fire extinguishers. Some outdoor booths may be located near the live music stage featuring heavy metal and rock performances; vendors sensitive to loud noise should note this in their application.

Indoor Market Experience
Indoor vendors are located on the second floor of Gastro Pup, a premium pet supply store. Access to this space is via a steep staircase with no ADA access due to the age of the building. Indoor vendors are allotted a 6-foot table space. While the room is heated, it is not individually climate-controlled and may become warm during peak attendance. Foot traffic and visibility may differ from outdoor placements, and vendors should consider this when applying.

Krampus-Themed Product Requirement
Every vendor must offer at least one Krampus-themed product, which is a defining requirement of the market. Applicants will be asked to describe and provide images of this item as part of the application. Vendors whose products do not include a Krampus-themed component will not be approved.

Important Notes
The festival’s footprint, layout, and market map may change due to crowd management needs, city requirements, weather conditions, or safety considerations. While organizers make every effort to accommodate vendor needs and placement requests, specific booth locations cannot be guaranteed.

The Krampus Kraft Market is designed to create a memorable, immersive shopping experience for festival-goers while showcasing the creativity, craftsmanship, and originality of makers who embrace the spirit of Krampusnacht Bremerton. Vendors who thrive in energetic environments, value strong thematic curation, and are prepared for a winter outdoor festival are encouraged to apply.
