About the application
Welcome to Gaithersburg Spring Fever! This is an electronic agreement and by submitting an application, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
The subcategories that fall withing the category of arts and crafts are clothing, textiles, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting and prints,, photography, pottery and clay, printmaking, wood, apothecary, specialty food and beverage. and all products related to Home and Garden to include live plants, outdoor furniture, gardening tools, and much more garden related items. There are exceptions to these categories made if deemed benefical to the show. Pictures of exhibitors work/product must be the work or product presented at the show. Food and beverage that is not mass produced must be packaged for offsite consumption. All food and beverage exhibitors will be required to get a health permit from the City of Gaithesburg 30 days prior to the start of the show.
Exhibitors amenties include 10 comp tickets to use for their customers to visit their exhibit at the show. Promotional postcards, printed artist directory, discounted hotel rates and free parking.
Booths must be professional and asthetically pleasing. The show provides pipe, drape and signage. Tent tops/ceiling type coverings are not permitted to be used. Artist must have a person present in their booth at alltimes. There should be no tear down before the show is over each day.
There are indoor and outdoor booths at this venue. The buildings for indoor booths are climate controlled. The outdoor booths do have overhead cover. There is also an option to put up your own 10'x10' tent outdoors on the property in a grassy area. All Commercial Exhibitors will be placed outdoors.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
Exhibitors must be present in their booth at all times. There are no banners allowed unless approved by show management. There is no music allowed in the buildings other than what is provided by the show. Only items submitted on your application should be presented in your booth without prior approval. Should an exhibitor present items not listed on their application they will be asked to leave the shoiw. We require a certificate of insurance from all exhibitors 30 days prior to the show. You will not be allowed to exhibit without insurance. Booth space may not be sublet or shared with another exhibitor. There will be no sale signs allowed in booths. We also do not allow exhibitors to post their signage in the restrooms or pass out flyers to attendees in the buildings or at the entrances. No yelling out to attendees about your products while walking past your booth. It is recommended that all exhibitors bring their own hot spot device as we cannot guarantee the quality of the WIFI service on the Fairgrounds.
