Terms & Conditions

Carolina Kitty Con – Vendor Terms & Conditions
By submitting an application and participating as a vendor at Carolina Kitty Con (“Event”), you (“Vendor”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Event Information
Carolina Kitty Con is a two day indoor event held in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Event features vendors, speakers, hands-on activities, and cat rescues from across North Carolina and beyond.

2. Application & Acceptance
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
All vendors are subject to review and approval by Event management. Carolina Kitty Con reserves the right to accept or decline any vendor application at its sole discretion to ensure a balanced and appropriate marketplace.

3. Vendor Space
Vendor booth placement is determined by Event management. While preferences may be noted, specific booth locations are not guaranteed.
Vendors must remain within the boundaries of their assigned space and may not obstruct aisles, neighboring booths, or walkways.

4. Booth Setup & Breakdown
Vendors are responsible for setting up and breaking down their own booths during the designated load-in and load-out times.
All items, displays, and trash must be removed by the end of the breakdown period. Vendors may be charged for excessive cleanup or abandoned materials.

5. Permits, Licenses & Taxes
Vendors are responsible for obtaining all required business licenses, permits, and insurance required by local, state, and federal laws.
Vendors are solely responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable sales taxes.

6. Products & Conduct
All merchandise, displays, and promotional materials must be family-friendly and appropriate for a general audience event.
Carolina Kitty Con reserves the right to require the removal of any item deemed unsafe, inappropriate, counterfeit, or in violation of intellectual property rights.
Vendors agree to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner toward attendees, staff, volunteers, other vendors, and rescue partners at all times.

7. Animal Safety
Because this is a cat-focused event with rescue partners and adoptable animals onsite, vendors must ensure that their products, decorations, and booth setup do not pose a danger or stress risk to animals.
No personal pets or animals may be brought into the event by vendors unless explicitly approved in writing by Event management.

8. Payments & Refunds
Vendor booth fees must be paid in full by the stated deadline to secure participation.
All vendor fees are non-refundable unless the Event is canceled by Carolina Kitty Con. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be issued at the discretion of Event management.

9. Liability
Vendors participate at their own risk. Carolina Kitty Con, its organizers, venue partners, staff, and volunteers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise or equipment.
Vendors are responsible for any damage caused by their booth, staff, or materials to the venue or other vendors’ property.

10. Indemnification
Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Carolina Kitty Con, its organizers, staff, volunteers, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of Vendor’s participation in the Event.

11. Cancellations & Changes
Carolina Kitty Con reserves the right to make changes to the Event layout, schedule, or programming as needed.
In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to weather, venue issues, or public safety concerns), the Event may be modified, postponed, or canceled.

12. Agreement
By submitting a vendor application and, if accepted, participating in Carolina Kitty Con, Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

Prices

Artist Alley Table $275.00 (+ tax and fees) Non-refundable Artist Alley Table Space | 8 ft table in artist alley. One 8' Table Two Chairs Two Vendor Passes ⚠️ Please Note: This is a table-only space, not a full booth footprint. Your setup must fit within the space of the provided table. If you require additional room for displays, racks, shelving, or larger setups, please select one of the standard 10x10 booth spaces instead. Vendors may purchase up to two Artist Alley spaces. Artists and makers needing a larger footprint are encouraged to explore the larger booth options available. Artist Alley inside the Agriculture Building at the NC State Fairgrounds is a vibrant, high-energy area dedicated to independent artists, makers, and crafters. It’s where attendees come specifically to discover original artwork, handmade goods, and one-of-a-kind creative pieces. Eligibility Requirements: Artist Alley is reserved exclusively for creators selling their own original work. All merchandise must be personally designed and produced by the vendor. To preserve the integrity of this space, resale items, commercially manufactured products, or goods previously sold in retail stores are not permitted.
10 x 10 Standard Inline $350.00 (+ tax and fees) Single 10x10 Booth Space One 8' Table Two Chairs Two Vendor Passes You may only purchase one per vendor for this option. These booths are located near the back of the vendor marketplace offering exceptional value. (The double preferred 10x20 inlines are located more towards the front/middle area.)
10x10 Single Booth - End Cap $550.00 (+ tax and fees) Non-refundable Upgrade your presence at Carolina Kitty Con with a 10x10 booth ideally positioned as a high-visibility end cap. These sought-after locations provide enhanced exposure, and foot traffic from multiple directions, making them perfect for eye-catching displays, interactive elements, or vendors who want a little extra room to stand out. Each 10x10 end cap space includes: • Two 8' tables • Two chairs • Two vendor passes End cap placement allows for more flexible booth layouts, smoother customer flow, and stronger branding opportunities that help draw attendees in from across the show floor. 10 x 20 Double Inline $625.00 (+ tax and fees) Non-refundable 10x20 Prime Booth Space Two 8' Tables Four Chairs Four Vendor Passes These prime booth spaces are strategically positioned near the main entrance of the Agriculture Building at the NC State Fairgrounds, giving vendors outstanding visibility from the moment attendees walk in. As a front-row exhibitor, you’ll enjoy a commanding presence with clear sightlines across the hall, helping you capture attention, increase foot traffic, and make a strong first impression all weekend long.
10x20 Double Booth – End Cap Preferred $850.00 (+ tax and fees) Non-refundable Upgrade your presence at Carolina Kitty Con with a spacious 10x20 double booth, ideally positioned as a high-visibility end cap. These premium locations offer maximum exposure, open sightlines, and increased foot traffic from multiple directions, making them perfect for brands, larger displays, interactive experiences, or vendors with expanded product lines.
