Indoor, 2-day Market. 

 

You will select and pay for your booth after approval. Prices based on location and size (Listed below.) If you DO NOT need Electricity in your booth, you must back out of this application and fill out the application titled: "Vendor Application - No Electricity" 

 

All participants must be set up and present for the entire market time for both days. See Terms and Conditions for more details. Browse through the applications and let us know if you have any questions. This is an electronic agreement and by submitting your application, you are validating and approving this agreement in its entirety electronically. 

 

Artists may apply in only one category. You must choose the category that best describes 75% or more of what you will be selling. For example, if you sell clothing, accessories, and jewelry, your category would be clothing if clothing is 75% or more of what you sell. If you sell jewelry, you may only apply in a category other than Jewelry if jewelry is less than 25% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry. If you sell Candles and Bath & Body products, you would only choose the one category and that makes up 75% or more of what you are selling. If you have a second category that takes up more than 25% of your inventory, you must lower the amount of that secondary item that you are displaying to 25% or less. Vendors who do not follow the guidelines will be asked to leave with no refund. If you are unsure which category to apply in or how to display your items to fit this criteria, please message your questions before you apply. There are no application refunds. There are a limited amount of each category available to keep the market even and fair to all participants.

BOOTH SIZE OPTIONS 

(Booths can be selected and paid for via the interactive map after application approval only. This list is for your reference, to get an idea of the options and so you'll know if you will want to rent tables and chairs. Tables and chairs are available last minute for an upgraded price.)

 

All booth prices will raise the closer we get to the event. So book sooner to save money! 

NOTHING EXCEPT FOR ELECTRICITY IS PROVIDED, TABLES AND CHAIRS CAN BE RENTED. You will need a 25ft or longer extension chord (and a surge protected power strip if you need more than one plug)

LIST OF CATEGORIES

3D Print Artists: If your booth is 75% or more 3D printed items, this is your category. You must either design and/or print the items yourself. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Author: Zines, novellas, novels, poetry, etc. Must be original work or direct representation of a local artist, no reselling will be accepted. 

 

Bath & Body: All bath and body products, must be handcrafted. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Beaded Accessories: This includes jewelry, other wearables, and home decor that is at least 50% hand beaded. Must be created and/or designed by you. No reselling will be accepted.  

 

Block Prints: must be original designs and block printed by yourself.

 

CBD: no legal marijuana or any illegal substances allowed, legal CBD only. No THC will be accepted. 

 

Candles: All candle types and wax melts. Must be handcrafted by you. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Chain Mail: This includes chain mail jewelry, body accessories, or home decor that is at least 50% handmade chain mail. Must be made by yourself. No reselling will be accepted.

 

Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural. Must be original work. 

 

Clothing & Accessories (not vintage): Any and all clothing and accessories. Limited niche resellers will be accepted. 

 

Cottage Foods: If you are unsure if your item is cottage food, this is a helpful guide. All edible items must be sealed completely. No exposed product and no samples allowed. (https://texascottagefoodlaw.com/allowed-foods/) Must be made by you. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Crochet: Any and all crochet work. Must be handcrafted. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Embroidery: Must be made by you, either by hand or by machine. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Face Painting: all health department guidelines must be adheared to

 

Henna: all health department guidelines must be adheared to

 

Herbal & Supplements: This is for witchcraft related herbals, teas, homeopathic remedies, etc. (No legal marijuana or illegal substances allowed. Legal CBD gummies will only be accepted in the CBD category.)

 

Glass: Functional and sculptural work. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted. Must be created by you. No reselling will be accepted.

 

Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may have more than 25% of their display as jewelry. No jewelry resellers accepted. You must personally create and/or design your work to be accepted. 

 

Kid's Wear: Any and all kids clothing and accessories (books will be under "Author" category. Games will be under "Games" category)

 

Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category. Must be created by you. No reselling will be accepted.

 

Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece. Must be created by you. No reselling will be accepted.

 

Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature. This also includes rocks, stones and crystals. 

 

Non-Profit: Any and all non-profit businesses. If you are interested in sponsorship, please see the sponsorship section. 

 

Oddities: All oddities items must be legally and humanely acquired. 

 

Original Artwork: Printed on items such as clothing, stickers, keychains, bags, etc. (no originals or prints allowed in this category, see "Two Dimensional Art" category.) 

 

Other Services: local real estate, chiropractors, massage therapists, wedding planners, etc. Must be a small local business. No large corporations will be accepted. 

 

Pet Retail: Small local businesses and locally handcrafted artists making and/or selling any pet related items.

 

Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable. No reselling or stock footage will be accepted. 

 

Plants and Planters: All plants and planters belong in this category. No mass reselling. this is for small local companies who propagate their own plants and/or make/design their own plant designs or terrariums. 

 

Plushies: Locally handmade only. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Pyrography: Wood burning art

 

Resin Art: Any and all items made up 50% or more of hand poured resin. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium. Original work only. 

 

Stained Glass / Mosaic: Original work only. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Tarot Reading: All types of Tarot services. Your retail must consist of 25% or less of your display. Only witchcraft related retail, such as talismans, tarot decks, etc. No clothing, other jewelry, etc. 

 

Tattooing: Only flash tattooing will be allowed and all necessary health department requirements must be adhered to. 

 

Tooth Gems: All necessary health department requirements must be adhered to. 

 

Toys: Any and all toys. Does not include 3D print items. (See "3D Print Artists" category")

 

Two-Dimensional Art: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Originals and prints only. Must be original artwork. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Tye Dye Clothing and Accessories: All items must be the dyed by yourself. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Vintage Clothing and Accessories: Only clothing and accessories for the body are allowed. (no home decor or other items allowed in this category) 

 

Vintage Items (other): Home decor, etc (no clothing and accessories allowed in this category)

 

Watercolor: Any and all watercolor art. Must be your original work. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved. No reselling will be accepted. 

 

OTHER (Not Listed): Please describe in the "Describe your work" field below. 

 

Non-LGBTQIA+ vendors who are true allies to our community are always welcome to apply, however space for allies is limited in order to provide opportunities for our marginalized community, which is the entire reason for this event. Thank you your interest and understanding and support.

About the event

Join us June 6th and June 7th 2026 at the Palmer Events Center (Hall 1) in Austin TX for the 7th biannual Big Ole Queer Market!! The Big Ole Queer Market's first show was in June of 2023 and to date is the largest market of queer vendors Texas has ever seen. Big Ole Queer Market is just what it sounds like. A huge indoor market featuring LGBTQIA+ owned small businesses and artists. This event happens twice a year at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, TX. More cities coming soon. Starting this year, this event has a $10 ticket price and all ages are welcome to attend. 17yrs & under are free. New IG followers will receive a 50% off coupon code for entry tickets. Entry tickets are good for both days! Thank you for helping us keep the vendor booth fees reasonable for our artists by paying for an admission ticket. We believe shopping locally builds a stronger local economy for all. Join us! You'll be happy you showed up. This market features art and handcrafted items from over 100 local independent artists and small business owners. You'll often find as many as 130 different vendors offering almost anything you can imagine. There is something for everyone and in every price range. (Required) Early Bird Application fee $10.00 Non-refundable There is a $10 non-refundable application fee which is charged upon application. This helps to ensure we don't have spam applications and to help pay for this software which features an interactive map so you can choose and pay for your booth in real time. Please expect a 6% fee for all purchases to cover software and credit processing fees. This is sadly unavoidable. Thank you for your understanding.
Single 8ft Table Rental (optional) $25.00 This add on is for an 8ft table rental for the entire weekend. Table will be placed in your booth Friday before your arrival. This does not come with chairs or linens. Please expect a 6% fee for all purchases to cover software and credit processing fees. This is sadly unavoidable. Thank you for your understanding.
1 Chair (optional) $5.00 This add on is for a single chair rental for the entire weekend. Chair will be placed in your booth Friday before your arrival. This does not come with tables or linens. You may rent up to 4 chairs. Please expect a 6% fee for all purchases to cover software and credit processing fees. This is sadly unavoidable. Thank you for your understanding.
