About the application
A Cherry Festival Community Resource is an organization that provides important information pertaining to children, families, seniors, or other valuable social services in the San Leandro community. A community resource must be a certified 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) organization and registered as a charity with the California Attorney General or a governmental agency.
Space for Community Resource booths is limited, and applications will be evaluated and prioritized on the following criteria:
- San Leandro-based non-profit community resource;
- Quality of information provided;
- Uniqueness/non-duplication of information;
- Returning community resources in good standing with the City;
- The date that the completed entry is received.
Exhibitor acceptance decisions are at the sole discretion of the City. The Festival reserves the right to admit duplicate businesses or extend exclusivity based on Festival size and needs.

Terms & Conditions
NEW FOR 2026: Please note that all Community Resource Exhibitors must pay a BOOTH Fee and a Refundable Cleaning Deposit. All participants must stay for the duration of the festival, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Participants who leave early will not be admitted to future Cherry Festivals.
Your application is not complete until you have uploaded all necessary documents to Eventeny.
Participant Acceptance and Notifications
Your credit card will be charged the booth space fee upon acceptance as a participant.
A refundable $50 cleaning deposit will be charged to your credit card on May 15th, 2026. Cleaning deposits will be refunded to your original payment method within seven days of the event. Please note: you must have your booth area inspected and approved by festival staff before leaving the festival grounds in order to receive your refund. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your cleaning deposit.
All accepted applicants will receive more detailed information via email by mid-May regarding access times, booth setup, parking passes, security, and more. Load-in begins at approximately 6:00 a.m. on June 6th. To maintain eligibility for future participation, participants must remain on site until the festival concludes at 6:00 p.m.
If your application is "waitlisted," your credit card will not be charged until your participation is confirmed.
Cancellations
The San Leandro Cherry Festival is a rain-or-shine event! Once accepted, booth fees are non-refundable.

- The San Leandro Cherry Festival is a rain or shine event! No refunds will be issued after your organization's application is approved.
- A limited number of participants in any category will be accepted to the Festival. Decisions are at the sole discretion of the City and based on, but not limited to: The best interest of the festival, history, level of investment, payment, and date of paperwork received. The Festival reserves the right to admit duplicate businesses based on the Festival needs and size. Exclusivity may be extended at the Festival’s discretion.
- The City of San Leandro does not guarantee vendor/participant sales.
- Participants are required to operate the entire time that the Cherry Festival is open from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Failure to do so will jeapordize your participation in future Cherry Festivals.
- Participants, their staff, employees, and agents must comply with all policies, fire codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations pertinent to health, fire prevention and public safety. Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the event without a refund.
- All booths MUST have a tent. Exhibitors are required to supply their own tent, tables, and chairs or rent them through the City of San Leandro.
- Booth locations are not guaranteed and are made at the discretion of Festival management.
- Participant shall be liable for delivery; handling, set up and removal of his/her own displays and equipment. All displays, merchandise, equipment and staff must be contained within the assigned booth space (items cannot be hung on the outside of the tent.) Please note this will be strictly enforced.
- No amplified music, walkway solicitation or “barking” is allowed. Staff/Personnel must remain INSIDE your assigned booth. Walking the grounds to sell merchandise or hand out fliers is strictly prohibited.
- Exhibitors must obtain written permission from the City prior to using the City of San Leandro’s logo, festival logo, or any logo from the City of San Leandro website in connection with their business.
- Political activity is restricted to the Free Speech area and is not allowed in any other area of the festival.
- By signing, you are agreeing to the City of San Leandro's Hold Harmless Agreement as described below.
