2026 MBF WV Craft Brewer Application

Feature your craft brews at the Mountaineer Brewfest, where West Virginia's finest breweries meet thousands of passionate beer lovers. Don't miss this opportunity to elevate your unique creations at this celebrated craft beer festival. Applications are now open! Only 19 WV Craft Brewer Sites are available, a $100 Deposit holds your site, and your deposit will be returned to you the day of the event.

Participating Breweries will receive: 

• A free, 10x10 tent (table, tablecloth, & chairs) including banner with your Brewery name/logo
• 1 Complimentary Friday and Saturday night hotel room 
• Day of festival catered lunch & evening meal vouchers
• Dedicated volunteers to assist with ice stocking of your booth
• Ability to sell your merchandise at the festival
• Your logo on all festival promotional media
• Volunteer pourers, Rinse Stations, Parking pass
• Competition: Festival officials will be judging your beer for awards
• Friday Evening Brewers Reception (TBA)

Mountaineer Brewfest WV Craft Brewer Rules of Participation:

• All Brewer team members must be 21 years of age with valid ID
• We ask that you have a Brewery or Distributor representative in attendance at your tent to support patron questions, tap changing, merchandise sales, etc.
• As a result of the high cost of media advertising for this event, any cancellation after June 1st will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
• We will have an Ice Truck from Friday noon before the festival until Sunday at noon for storage of your beer. Brewer is responsible for pickup of any kegs left in the Ice truck by noon Sunday.
• The Mountaineer Brewfest does not provide draft equipment. Brewery and distributor representatives are responsible for bringing draft equipment the day of the festival and removing any equipment or merchandise at the end of the festival. The Mountaineer Brewfest is not responsible for any equipment or merchandise left or lost at the Wheeling Heritage Port.
• Brewers can set up Brewfest weekend starting Friday after 5pm. You must be set up by 12 noon on Saturday and be ready for patrons and volunteers by 2pm Saturday. Tear Down and removal of all equipment from the Wheeling Heritage Port by 12:00pm Sunday.
• Ensure that the attendees avoid excessive consumption of alcohol.
  • Our Volunteer Servers provide only one 4oz sample of your product per customer per tab into the plastic sample cup or VIP tasting glass. Volunteers may also provide a 16 oz commemorative mug pour for 4 tabs.
  • Under no circumstances should alcoholic beverages be served to a visibly intoxicated person or someone you suspect to be intoxicated.
  • Educate the attendees: talk about your beer with patrons as samples are provided but do not hold up lines. Ask them to visit your website or facebook page to learn more.
  • Encourage patrons to take a break from beer if applicable, there are food and merchandise vendors, water stands, and of course entertainment available to complete their festival experience
• Establish a positive festival atmosphere. Always be available, helpful and informative.
  • Avoid confrontations and alert security to all issues
  • Keep your booth space clean and organized. Appearance is important: an attractive space encourages responsible behavior.
• Take care of your colleagues.
  • Be a good neighbor and help other brewers and volunteers when needed.
  • Be alert to any potential safety issues and notify staff personnel or security immediately.
• Take care of yourself.
  • Dress comfortably, but neatly, and wear good shoes for long hours on your feet.
  • Take a break: enjoy the complimentary food and beverages.
