2026 Buford Spring Festival


Food Vendor Application – Terms & Conditions


The following Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the applicant (“Vendor”) and the Buford Business Alliance (“BBA”), in partnership with the City of Buford, for participation in the 2026 Buford Spring Festival.

 

Submission of a vendor application constitutes acknowledgment of and agreement to all terms contained herein.

Vendor Classification
Vendors must apply under the appropriate category. Applications submitted under an incorrect category may be denied and will require resubmission.

Non-Food BBA Member Vendor: Vendors not selling food items who are current members in good standing of the Buford Business Alliance. Applications submitted as a BBA member by non-members shall be denied.
Non-Food, Non-BBA Member Vendor: Vendors not selling food items who are not current BBA members.
Non-Profit Organization: Organizations recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Proof of tax-exempt status is required.
Food Truck Vendor: Vendors selling food items from a licensed and permitted food truck.
Food Vendor (Non-Food Truck): Vendors selling food items from a tent or trailer.
 
General Terms & Conditions


Application Completion: All applications must be fully completed and submitted with all required documentation. Incomplete applications may be rejected without notice.
Limited Space: Vendor space is limited, and acceptance is not guaranteed.
Right of Refusal: The BBA reserves the sole and absolute right to approve or reject any vendor application for any reason, including but not limited to product suitability, duplication, safety concerns, or compliance issues.
Prohibited Content: Political candidates, political causes, and political messaging are strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Items: Alcohol, tobacco, firearms, sexual items, illegal substances, and political materials are not permitted.
Electricity: Requests for electrical access must be indicated on the application. Fees may apply. Low-noise generators are permitted with prior approval.
Vendor Space: Standard vendor spaces (excluding food trucks) measure approximately ten feet by ten feet (10’ x 10’). All displays, equipment, inventory, and signage must remain within the assigned space unless additional space has been purchased and approved.
Special Requests: Any special requests must be submitted in writing with the application. Accommodation of requests is not guaranteed.
Space Assignment: Vendor locations are assigned solely by event organizers and may not be transferred or exchanged. Placement decisions are based on operational, safety, and logistical considerations.
Check-In and Load-In: Vendors shall comply with assigned check-in and load-in times. Late arrivals may be required to unload outside the festival footprint.
Early Setup: Early setup for non-food vendors may be permitted the evening prior to the event if requested and approved in advance.
Vehicle Restrictions: Vehicles are prohibited within the festival area from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Parking: Vendor parking is available along Main Street and at the Buford Parking Deck on Moreno Street.
Insurance and Liability: The BBA does not provide insurance coverage. Vendors are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage. The BBA and the City of Buford shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to vendor property.
Sales Tax: Vendors are solely responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting all applicable local, state, and federal taxes.
Refund Policy: All vendor fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Inclement Weather: The festival may be postponed to the following Saturday due to severe weather. Light rain shall not constitute grounds for cancellation. Weather determinations will be made no later than the Wednesday preceding the event.
 
Food Vendor Application and Health Compliance Requirements


Correct Application Required: All food vendors must submit the correct Food Vendor Application in its entirety. No exceptions shall be granted.
Health Department Documentation: Food vendors are required to complete and submit the City of Buford Health Department form, together with all supporting documentation listed on that form. Required documents are clearly identified in red and are available for review prior to application submission. This form is attached to this application under Documents.
Submission Deadline: Upon application approval, all required health department forms and documentation must be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days of the approval date.
Failure to Comply: Failure to submit all required documentation within the prescribed timeframe shall result in immediate forfeiture of the vendor’s participation without refund. The BBA reserves the right to offer the space to another vendor.
Vendor Responsibility: The BBA does not assist in obtaining, completing, or correcting health department documentation. Compliance with all health, safety, and permitting requirements is the sole responsibility of the food vendor.
No Refunds: Vendors removed due to noncompliance with health documentation requirements shall not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances.
 
Acknowledgment
By submitting an application, the Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by all terms and conditions set forth herein.

10x10 Booth $200.00 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep. If you have a food truck or trailer, please complete the appropriate application
Food Truck or Trailer $350.00 Non-refundable This price is food trucks or food trailers. Please let us know the size of your truck or trailer along with a picture so we can see what side you will be serving on.
Electrical Outlet $60.00 Non-refundable
