We’re excited to invite you to participate in one of our favorite signature events—the 16th Annual Georgetown Swirl!

 

This award-winning event, featuring local food, Texas wine, and downtown shopping, will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The theme this year is "Sweet 16." We encourage you to embrace the theme and join in the festivities-- think pink!

 

Highlights from 2025:

·         A sold-out crowd enjoyed delicious pairings of Texas wines and savory bites.

·         Attendees dined, shopped, and "swirled" around the square, supporting local stores and Texas wineries.

·         Proceeds from The Swirl benefit the Main Street Façade & Sign Grant Program, which has provided over $700,000 to enhance downtown properties and businesses.

 

This year, we’ll keep the event intimate with 600 VIP and general admission tickets available. We’d love for you to join us as a Swirl winery partner!

About the event

The Georgetown Main Street Program invites you to be part of the 16th Annual Georgetown Swirl, a Texas Downtown Association (TDA) Presidents Award-winning Texas wine, local food, and downtown shopping celebration, on the Georgetown Square. The event will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. for VIP and 5:30-8:30 p.m. for GA. The Georgetown Swirl will include tastings from Texas wineries as well as amazing food from local restaurants located inside the fabulous downtown retail stops. Each attendee will receive a commemorative tasting glass and will have their choice of 10 wine samples and a tasting at each of the participating restaurants. The retail locations will have Swirl shopping specials for guests, so treat yourself to a few things while you’re out swirling around downtown! Live jazz music by Swing Shift will set a fun and festive mood. Don’t miss out on the fun! A total of 475 general admission tickets are sold for $60 each to keep the event an intimate gathering. 125 VIP tickets are available for $130 each for early access to the VIP Reception from 4- 5:30 p.m. VIP guests will enjoy a special custom menu paired with Texas wines. It is an experience you do not want to miss! Check-In for VIP guests will be at City Post Chophouse starting at 4 p.m. Check-In for General Admission guests will be at the Downtown Development and Special Events Office, 502 S Main St. starting at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Georgetown Main Street Facade & Sign Grant Program which has awarded over $700,000 in matching grant funds back to over 100 downtown property and business owners.

Terms & Conditions

Confirm your participation by Friday, January 9, 2026 by completing the online form, which includes details on the tasting reimbursement process.

 

A stipend of up to $250 is available to offset your participation expenses. Register as a City of Georgetown vendor and send your invoice to Rachel White rachelwhite@georgetowntexas.gov up to 30 days after the event.
