Terms & Conditions
Please read all the information below before beginning your application. As a vendor, you are responsible for understanding all terms and conditions. This is an electronic agreement, and by submitting your application, you agree to all North Carolina Fossil Festival Terms and Conditions.
All vendors are personally responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting sales tax as required by the North Carolina Department of Revenue. The North Carolina Fossil Festival and the Aurora Fossil Museum Foundation, Inc. assume no responsibility regarding vendors' collection, reporting, and remittance of sales tax for sales during the North Carolina Fossil Festival.
Vendors must provide their own table(s), chair(s), and set-ups. Tables and chairs can be rented for a nominal fee by selecting the number of tables and chairs in the fee section below.
All tents and coverings must be weighted to prevent becoming airborne in the event of windy conditions. Cylinder/sleeve weights or water canisters are preferred. No stakes may be driven into asphalt or hard paved surfaces. All tents, coverings, and booth areas will be inspected for safety before the event’s opening.
- A non-refundable application fee of $10.00 is required to submit your application.
- Applying does not guarantee acceptance as an NC Fossil Festival vendor.
- Only applications submitted through this webpage will be accepted; incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.
- Applications received by mail or email will automatically be rejected.
- A committee selects applicants based on the vendor application only.
- Applications are due by 6:00 p.m. EST on April 25, 2026.
- Vendors will be notified via email of the decision.
- Once approved, vendors will be automatically charged the total vendor fee, and an approval email will be sent.
VENDOR AGREEMENT
By submitting this application, I agree to hold the Aurora Fossil Museum Foundation, Inc., the Town of Aurora, and the North Carolina Fossil Festival harmless for any injury or loss to any person, equipment, property, or goods for any cause whatsoever. I also agree that the stated organizations cannot be held responsible for any claims for damage, injury, or loss arising from or in connection with the use of the space or grounds during the North Carolina Fossil Festival in Aurora.
I also understand that the NC Fossil Festival is a rain-or-shine event and that there are no refunds of vendor fees whatsoever. Including, in the event the NC Fossil Festival is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather.
