Parade Pfloat Application - Shining Through the Decades
About the application
Shining Through the Decades – Celebrating 60 Years of Pflugerville!
This year, we are celebrating Pflugerville’s 60th anniversary with a parade theme that honors the city’s history through the decades. Our pfloats will showcase holiday traditions and decorations from each era, bringing the spirit of the past six decades to life. Examples include:
1960s: Retro holiday décor with classic cars and vintage ornaments
1970s: Groovy holiday style with disco flair and bright, shiny colors
1980s: Neon lights, pop culture icons, and holiday rock music!
1990s: Nostalgic holiday moments with classic toys or movie inspired like Elf or Home Alone!
2000s: Modern festive trends with interactive and tech-inspired elements like prismatic decor
Each pfloat should display a banner or sign with a message honoring this milestone — for example:
- Celebrating 60 Years!
- Happy 60th Birthday, Pflugerville!
- 60 Years of Pfamilies, Pfriends & Pfestivities!
