About the application
Taste of Vienna – Restaurant Booth Information
Participating restaurants keep 100% of their food and beverage sales.
The only required cost is a $500 registration fee.
To ensure attendees can sample a wide variety of vendors, we require that each establishment offer small, sample-sized portions, not full-size dishes. Your featured menu item must be priced under $7.00. Vendors who do not follow this guideline may be asked to leave the event without refund.
Cooking or food preparation on-site is optional. You are welcome to bring pre-cooked or previously prepared items and restock as needed throughout the event, as long as all Health Department regulations are followed.
Your $500 Restaurant Booth Fee Includes
A 10’x10’ booth footprint with an open-sided tent
Two (2) 6’ tables and two (2) chairs
Access to one (1) 110v electrical outlet
Booth signage
Set-up and breakdown of tent, tables, and chairs
The Town of Vienna $50 Meal Tax
Event Promotion & Added Benefits

About the event
Terms & Conditions
Featured Item Requirement
Vendors must prepare a main featured item portioned appropriately and priced under $7.00. This rule is strictly enforced to encourage attendees to sample offerings from multiple vendors.
We recommend preparing 500–1,000 servings of at least a 2 oz portion.
Event Day Set-Up & Operating Hours
Booths and food trucks must be fully set up on Cherry Street by 10:00 AM and ready to serve by 11:00 AM, rain or shine.
Fairfax County Health Department inspections and permit issuance will take place between 10:00–11:00 AM only.
Vendors must remain open and serving until at least 6:00 PM and must be fully vacated by 9:00 PM, rain or shine.
Early departure or failure to appear may result in disqualification from future Taste of Vienna events.
No booth or food truck may be left unattended at any time.
Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are responsible for providing all necessary operational items, including:
Equipment for food preparation, holding, and serving
Serving dishes, utensils, napkins, and ice
Extension cords for electrical needs
A fire extinguisher
Staff for all food preparation and service
Rinse and sanitation equipment
Additional On-Site Provisions:
Potable water and wastewater disposal
A dumpster for trash
Space for vendor equipment delivery and pickup
Booth Placement
Booth assignments are determined based on registration order, food type, and equipment needs, but no specific placement is guaranteed.
Vendors can select preferred booth location during registration, however, in rare occassions the VVFD reserves the right to change the location.
Venue Access & Vehicles
Vehicles may enter the venue for unloading during initial setup.
All vehicles must be removed by 10:00 AM, unless prior arrangements have been approved.
Marketing Materials
A high-resolution logo must be uploaded to this website for use in event marketing and promotional materials.
By uploading your logo, you grant the VVFD permission to use it in any promotional materials related to the event.
Health Department Requirements
Vendors must apply for a Temporary Food Establishment Permit (TFEP) from the Fairfax County Health Department no later than April 1, 2026.
Apply through the PLUS ACA–Accela Citizen Access system.
The event name is listed as “Taste of Vienna 2026.”
Further Health Department instructions will be provided after registration.
Meals Tax Compliance
Per the Town of Vienna Code §6-33, all food establishments—mobile or permanent—must collect a $50 Meal Tax. This tax is included in your registration fee.
