Artist and Maker Applicatoin for the AGKC Glow Market at Puppets-A-Glow - an unforgettable night of glowing art installations, aerialists, fire performers, roving entertainers, interactive crafts, local food trucks, music, hot air balloon glow and a dazzling illuminated giant puppet show! Presented by Stone Lion Theater and the National WWI Musuem and Memorial.
This is a 2-day market that runs from 5pm-10pm both days. It is suggested that vendors applying have all supplies needed to embrace the "glow" aspect of this night market- any battery opearted string lights, LED's, glow sticks/bracelets, blacklights, etc- are very encouraged.
This annual event brings out around 3,000-5,000 attendees and has become a beloved tradition in Kansas City! This year will mark the first year to include a Glow Market!
Vendor Details
- Choose one or both dates!
- Load-in: 3:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Load-out: 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Must teardown booth each night.
- Free vendor parking available - Drive up to load in!
- Booth Fee: $50 per day for a 10' x 10' space (+ credit card processing fee)
Who We’re Looking For
This is a curated event. Vendors are selected based on professionalism, quality of work, booth presentation, and overall vibe. We’re especially looking for:
• Handmade and artisanal goods
• Original art/fine art
• Glow art
• Eco/Enviromentally Friendly Products
• Service Vendors (Caricature, Permanent Jewelry, Henna, Massage, Reiki, Tarot)
• Select cottage law food vendors
As always live art and on-site creation are highly encouraged—guests love seeing artists in action! Be sure to mention if you plan to create live in your application.
Vendor Requirements
• 10x10 canopy with 20–30 lb. weights per leg
• Your own tables, chairs, and fabric table coverings
• Booth photo required with your application
• Glow lights (battery operated)

Applications close: Saturday, November 1st
Approved vendors will be charged immediately upon acceptance. Make sure your payment method is valid; declined payments will result in your spot being released to the next vendor on the waitlist.

Terms & Conditions
Waitlist Procedures
You may be placed on the waitlist if there are no available spaces. If placed on the waitlist, you may be notified via email if there is a cancellation and be offered the opportunity to vend. If you accept, you will only be charged for the event and added to the map.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Refunds issued for vendors that cancel 7 days prior to the event date.
- In the event of weather cancellations determined by Stone Lion Theatre and Art Garden KC management team, vendors will be notified via email and 50% refunds will be issued to all vendors.
General Expectations - Arrive on time and stay set up until event ends. Emergency situations will be taken into consideration at the discretion of the AGKC Team member on-site, please alert us if you need to leave early due to an emergency.
- Clean up after yourself.
- Be respectful to staff, event patrons and other vendors.
- Vendor owned canopies must be secured to the ground with blocks, sandbags or other heavy objects to prevent property damage and injury to others.
Professionalism
- Vendors must keep the immediate premises of the designated area clean, sanitary and/or orderly. Use fabric tablecloths and hide extra supplies/items under table.
- No person shall deface or do damage to buildings, pavement, or other physical equipment of Stone Lion Puppet Theatre or National WWI Musuem and Memorial.
- Vendor shall be responsible for the repair or replacement of any property, which may be damaged by a vendor, operation of the vendor’s business or vendor employee.
- AGKC and/or National WWI Musuem and Memorial shall have authority to immediately remove from the event any person:
- Gambling
- Displaying disorderly conduct
- Possessing illegal firearms
- Displaying aggressive or violent behavior
- Using abusive or harassing language, gestures, or behavior
- Physical assaulting or fighting
- Performing sexual misconduct
Property Damage
Stone Lion Puppet Theatre, National WWI Musuem and Memorial, and Art Garden Kansas City LLC and its employees, agents or officials are hereby released from any responsibility or liability for loss or damage of merchandise or property while it is being displayed/stored in this location. Vendors are responsible for their own personal liability and/or general liability insurance.
