About the application

Come set up at Guild at the beginning of December to sell your arts and crafts to local patrons looking to fuel their gift-giving this holiday season. Our Mistletoe Market will run on Friday, December 5th from 12pm - 6pm and Saturday, December 6th from 9am - 12pm. This event also plays host to Brookwood Elementary's Christkindlmarkt, in which schoolkids will sell their crafts from class.  More details below: 

 

Booth/Exhibitor Information:
This is a juried market and submission of application does not constitute acceptance. As an arts organization, we prioritize hand-made, hand-crafted, and original goods to maintain a high standard of quality among our vendors. In addition, we strive to provide a market with diverse options, and may limit the number of accepted vendors within a category of product. Food vendors and business displays will not be accepted.


10’ x 10’ Booth, $50: This size is intended for vendors who are used to filling a standard 10’ x 10’ space. Tents are not required, as the event is indoors, but may be set-up if it is used for decoration and display.
2’ x 6’ Table Booth, $30: This space is for vendors who only require a 2’ x 6’ table. Table must be supplied by the vendor and all displays and products must be contained to the table area. Artists must provide their own displays. Electricity is available on a limited basis but must be requested on the Market Application; artists are responsible for their own extension cords (we recommend a minimum of 50’). 

 

Check-in and Set-up:
Artist check-in and set-up will be Friday, December 5 from 9:00am - 11:00am. All artists and booths must be set up and open by Friday, December 5 at noon. Any artist not arriving or calling by 10:30 am will be considered a no-show. 

 

Sales:
Artists will be responsible for handling their sales, and should plan to have change and other financial necessities. Wi-Fi will be available for artists to use for online payment systems. Artists will be responsible for collecting and reporting Georgia sales tax. The Creative Arts Guild does not charge commission on Mistletoe Market sales.

 

Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellations by accepted artists must be received in writing prior to November 28th at 4:00pm for a refund of booth fee. The Creative Arts Guild in Dalton is the oldest multi-disciplinary arts center in the state of Georgia. In 2024, we will celebrate our 61st anniversary. Our Mistletoe Market will be held on the Creative Arts Guild’s campus at 520 West Waugh Street, Dalton, GA 30720.

Terms & Conditions

By completing the application to the Creative Arts Guild’s Mistletoe Market the exhibitor agrees to hold the Creative Arts Guild, its Board of Directors, Staff, and Volunteers harmless for any losses, expenses, demands or damage to my artwork or other personal property, or injury regardless of cause.  I agree that each item displayed will be my unique and original artwork, and to abide by all the rules and regulations set. I agree to allow images of my work and likeness to be used in event-related publicity and/or materials.  We suggest artists carry their own insurance. Extreme care will be taken with artwork. Submitting images and entry form to the Guild constitutes an agreement with these terms and conditions. The Guild reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries and the right to reject artwork not accurately represented by submitted images or information. Artist application submission constitutes agreement with these terms.

Prices
