 Parade participants are invited to play Christmas Music throughout the parade.  Parade Winners will be announced Monday December 22rd

About the event

7th Annual Christmas Lights Parade through Downtown Thomaston! - Parade Theme: "Our Hometown Christmas Story" - Parade Setup Time: 3:00PM — 5:30 PM - Parade Judging Time: 5:30PM - 6:30PM - Parade Start Time: 7:00PM -Santa at the Courthouse 4:00PM-6:00PM -Vendors around the Courthouse 4:00PM-9:00PM. Vendor set up will be 1:00PM-3:30PM. Vendors are to be set up by 3:45PM.

Terms & Conditions

All persons operating any of the following motorized vehicles, including motorcycle riders, will be required to wear a helmet without exception during the parade. Anyone not wearing a helmet will be removed from the parade. Any unlicensed/untagged vehicles that deviate from the parade route will be subject to enforcement action and possibly impounded. All vehicle operates must carry a valid driver's license. Golf Cart & ATV/UTV's with seat belts are not required to wear helmets during the parade. However, seatbelts must be fastened at all times. Candy is permitted. Please have walkers to toss candy to sidewalks, not in the roads. All horses must have manure bags or have a walker to gather any droppings. No applications to march will be approved outside of school related entities. Ex: Band, ROTC, Colorgaurd, Etc. The City of Thomaston reserves the right to remove any Parade participant from the Parade route without advance notice for any reason or cause including, but not limited to, participants who: use any political sign, social or political material; improperly use or display the American Flag based upon U.S. flag policy set forth in the U.S. Code; wear or otherwise use inappropriate costumes; use or make inappropriate gestures; exhibit any inappropriate behavior, as determined in the sole discretion of the Parade staff; are under the influence of alcohol or drugs; or use any tobacco products on the Parade route.
