Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival: A coastal favorite, the Shrimp & Grits Festival combines the classic southern dish with family-friendly entertainment, over 100 art and craft vendors, live music, kids’ zone, food, a craft brew fest, wildlife demonstrations, and more. Now in its 15th year, more than 45,000 guests attend the Shrimp & Grits Festival. A submitted application constitutes a contract to follow those rules and regulations and accept Festival terms (below).

Prime Shrimp & Grits Vendor Space include:20'x20' space, at a value of $2,500 includes:Equipment Support (for the duration of the event): One, 20'x20' white tent Eight, 6' tables (uncovered) Tent lighting Electricity: 1-30amp 220 volt 2-110 volt 20 amp Water Source (not potable, bring water)Vending locations will be throughout the festival this year and assigned by the Festival CommitteeA vendor understands that the space size they lease shall accommodate their unit, including any hitch and awnings and that they will be charged for additional space should they go over their designated area. Space is limited, and all equipment, supplies, and displays must be located within the dimensions of the designated space. The overall appearance of the vendor’s vending area, as well as the vendor’s staff, is considered for involvement in future events. Vendors agree to keep their lease space and surrounding area clean and clear of all garbage and debris. Within their own space, vendors will provide garbage containers for their customers’ use. By submitting this application, the applicant agrees to have reviewed this entire application and to abide by the requirements set forth by this application, certifying all work for sale is handmade by the seller and not mass-produced. Furthermore, by submitting this application, the applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Jekyll Island Authority from any claims whatsoever arising from the applicant’s participation as a vendor and any theft, loss, or damage to the person or property of the applicant while in possession or under the supervision of Jekyll Island Authority during the Shrimp & Grits Festival. No refunds or credits will be issued for vendor cancellation, inclement weather cancellation, or an act of God.I also agree to participate in Half Price Night (11/04/2022) by providing a half-price sample served in a 6-oz. container.
