About the application
The City of Southport is looking for talented musicians to bring the energy and vibes to our 4th Annual Food Truck Rodeo on August 1, 2026! This lively event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the historic Fort Johnston – Southport Museum & Visitors Center.
Perform in a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere with delicious food and a scenic waterfront backdrop. We’re seeking bands of all genres to help create an unforgettable experience for attendees.
- Performers will receive a $700 payment by check after the performance, provided they submit a completed W-9 form.
- This fee covers all travel, lodging, and meal expenses.
- Performers must provide their own equipment, including a recommended 50-foot extension cord.
- No vehicles are allowed on the Fort Johnston Lawn—equipment must be carried or hand trucked in.

Terms & Conditions
Note: Your application will not be considered if you performed in the 2025 Concert Series. You may be regarded if you were selected but your performance was rained out with no makeup date available.

- Date and time – August 1, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Consideration – City of Southport will provide payment by check in the amount of $700.00, made payable to the Performer or Presenter upon completion of the specified performance and submission of a completed and signed form W-9.
Insurance – City of Southport shall maintain comprehensive insurance coverage with liability and medical limits of $1,000,000 per claim and $2,000, 000 general aggregate.
Expenses – The Performer or Presenter agrees that consideration is inclusive of accommodations, travel, and meals.
Equipment – The Performer or Presenter is asked to bring/provide appropriate audio equipment sufficient for the performance. No vehicles will be allowed on the Fort Johnston Lawn for any reason; all equipment must be hand trucked or carried in.
Cancellation – In the case of rain the performance may be cancelled. A decision will be made by 9 a.m. the day of the performance. Rain dates have not been selected in case of adverse weather. In the event of cancellation by event organizers, there is no obligation for performance or payment.
