2026 Panel/Workshop Application
About the application
This form should be used to submit a proposal to present a panel or workshop at HanaCon 2026.
Successful completion of this form does not guarantee that your session will be selected. All entries will be put before a selection committee and accepted on a rolling basis. You do NOT need to send email follow ups about your session(s). You will be notified of your session status within 45 days of our submission deadline.
Please complete all sections of the form to the best of your ability. The person submitting the form will be considered the session host. While we will make every attempt to avoid conflicting with your convention schedule, by submitting this form you consent to allow your session to occur at any time during convention hours. HanaCon cannot guarantee that your session will not coincide with more popular events during any given time slot. Session times will allow for 5 minutes of setup time and 5 minutes of break down time. Should you run over your given time, programming staff will have the right to terminate your session. This helps us ensure that we are fair to all sessions taking place. Also be aware that HanaCon may record/photograph your session for use on our site or social media.
Please only submit one session proposal per form.
All panel/workshop submissions are due by 11:59 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
Please be sure that the email address you use for your submission is one that you check regularly, as this will be our only method of communication prior to the convention. Failure to meet a response deadline will result in your session not being scheduled.
