Mobile Food and Beverage Vendor Application

The annual Holidays on the Plaza 2025-2026 season will be at Government Plaza and run from Monday, November 24th through Thursday, January 1st. A limited number of spaces will be available each day for mobile food vendors on Gary Fitts Street (6th St). All food vendors will be required to have an active mobile food vending license or a City of Tuscaloosa franchise license. There is no vendor application fee.

The following guidelines apply to mobile food and beverage vendors this season:  

All mobile food vendors are required to have an active mobile food vending license or a City of Tuscaloosa franchise license on file, as well as approval from the Tuscaloosa County Health Department.  

All food trucks will need to park on Gary Fitts St (6th St). If you are parked, in the roadway before the line up time, you will be subject to everyday traffic laws. 

Access to power is not permitted due to the Tinsel Trail trees, you will need to plan on bringing a generator if you need power.  

Vendors are responsible for taking their own garbage with them. No bags of garbage may be left curbside on Gary Fitts St.  

The event is rain or shine.
