Exhibitor Application

Welcome to Black Boy Art Show! 

Eligibility: Black male Exhibitors (21+) who possess one or more of the following qualifications. Please review to determine your eligibility.
 
Visual Artists:                                                                

• Painting (Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor,)                                      
• Mixed Media (Collage, drawings, found objects, textiles, paper, metal, wood, and digital elements to create visually dynamic and textured artworks.
• Photography
• Digital Art
• Sculptures                                                                                            

Vendors:

• Clothing
• Authors
• Crafts can consist of:                                                      
• Handmade jewelry (e.g., necklaces, bracelets, earrings)
• Ceramics and pottery                                                  
• Woodworking and woodcraft                                                
• Hand-sewn textiles (e.g., quilts, clothing, accessories)            
• Paper crafts (e.g., origami, handmade cards, paper sculpture)
• Candle making                                                                        
• Soap making and other bath and body self care products    
• Glass art and glassware                                              
• Metalworking and metal crafts                                  
• Leatherwork and leather crafts 

Not Allowed:

• Any exhibitors who do not identify as Black male.
• Exhibitors under the age of 21, even if you're 20 this isn't allowed.
• Art theft of any kind or using other artists' works on their products such as mugs, blankets, or art prints.
• Vendors selling items not specified in the allowed list (e.g., food, Beverages, electronics, bundles, lashes etc).
• Non-Black women authors (only Black women authors are eligible).
• Visual art forms not specified in the allowed list (e.g.,Performance art, Yoga teachers, Individuals giving speeches or presentations).
• Tarot or readings if that's the sole offering with no other products or services provided
• Mentors/Therapists who aren't offering any physical products in addition to their services
• Anything that violates the event's guidelines or policies regarding content, safety, or legality.

Review: Our team will conduct a thorough review of your work and consider you for the exhibit within 48 hours.If selected and approved, your registration fee will be charged.  Setup: All exhibitors are provided with a 8ft x 8ft or 16ft x 8ft floor space and will be required to bring their own grid panel displays, easels, tables, etc for presentation. Exhibitors are required to be on site by 12pm for setup on the day of event. Sales start at 3pm and end at 8pm.  

Sales: Exhibitors keep 100% of their sales.  

REFUNDS /CANCELLATION/VENDOR CREDIT: 
 
Black Boy Art Show DOES NOT offer refunds for any reason. No refunds in case of inclement weather, acts of nature, or restrictions by governmental agencies to cancel the event, over which Black Boy Art Show has no control. Vendor credit towards a future event will be assessed on an individual basis and dependent on special circumstances but NOT guaranteed as withdrawals/cancellations affect the whole market. Any withdrawal/cancellation requests must be requested 2 weeks in advance of the event to be considered for vendor credit. 
 
ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
 
I agree to indemnify and hold Black Boy Art Show, their officials, staff, and agents harmless of and from any and all actions, causes of actions of every kind in law or equity, suits, debts, liens, contracts, agreements, promises, claims, liabilities, demands, damages, obligations, loss, costs, and expense of any nature whatsoever, known or unknown, fixed or contingent, including, with limitation, attorney’s fees and court costs through and including any appeals, taxable or otherwise, incurred, either directly or indirectly, as a result of my participation in the Black Boy Art Show, including but not limited to, any claims which might be made by myself, my co-workers, my agents, my employees, and/or any member of the general public.
 
I acknowledge that I am responsible for the security of my own property and expressly assume all risk of loss and/or damage to property arising either directly or indirectly from my participation in the Black Boy Art Show. I understand and agree that Black Boy Art Show is in no way responsible for my property or its safekeeping.
