2026 Frankenmuth Dog Bowl Vendor Agreement

Frankenmuth Dog Bowl is The World's Largest Olympic Style Event for Dogs and in the middle of it all is our vendor marketplace! We accept a variety of vendors at our event from established brick and mortar stores, to handmade goods by small businesses! Frankenmuth Dog Bowl runs annually on the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. This event also runs alongside Balloons Over Bavarian Inn which begins with and evening flight on the Friday of Memorial Weekend and concludes with a morning flight on Memorial Day. Vendors are encouraged to begin set up anytime 8am-8pm on Friday and must be ready to open by 9am on Saturday. Crowds do begin to gather on Friday evening for the balloon festivities and vendors are welcome but not required to open on Friday night. It is required for all vendors to be open 9am-6pm both Saturday and Sunday, but all vendors are again welcome to stay open further into the evening to welcome guests that are on property for the nightly balloon flights and glows. Teardown should not start prior to 6 PM on Sunday, weather permitting. The Dog Bowl leadership team will determine earlier closure and departure based upon weather, and you will be informed via email and in person if early closure is decided due to weather. If you do have any questions, please contact Bethany Childs at bchilds@bavarianinn.com.

Frankenmuth Dog Bowl, Inc. has the sole discretion over all items or products being sold or distributed at Dog Bowl and related events or activities. We reserve the right to restrict products that violate this agreement. Food and/or beverages for human consumption are not allowed to be sold at any vendor booths. No exceptions! Space is not reserved until we receive the signed agreement AND payment in full. Payment is due by May 1 to reserve your space. We will only accept credit card payments. Friendly Reminder: you are NOT guaranteed previous year placements - we will do our best to accommodate vendor requests. Vendors will provide the following:

• 10' x 10' tent and/or covering
• Signage, banners, and displays
• Tables, chairs, stools, etc.
• Staff and/or volunteers
• Hand trucks or dollies for unloading and loading equipment
• Extension cords, power strips, and floor mats to cover cords (if onsite electricity is used)

  • No generators are permited. 

Check-In with Director of Events - Bethany Childs, is required before going to your booth location. 

Overnight lodging in vehicles, campers, tents, or other unauthorized methods of overnight stay is not permitted on property.

Frankenmuth River Place Shops and Frankenmuth Dog Bowl, INC. will not be responsible for losses of any kind, whether by fire, theft, physical violence, elements of nature, or any other cause. Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise, employees, and equipment, its protection, and insurance at the risk of the vendor only and Vendor shall hold the Frankenmuth River Place Shops and Frankenmuth Dog Bowl, INC. harmless from any damages, including subrogation claims by Vendor’s insurance carrier. Discourtesy to patrons or other vendors, obscene language, or shouting will not be tolerated and may result in the Vendor’s removal from the festival and forfeiture of your registration fee, as well as being barred from future events.

Frankenmuth Dog Bowl does not grant exclusive rights to any vendor. Vendors may offer similar or identical products, as we do not maintain exclusivity agreements with our vendors. While we make reasonable efforts to avoid placing comparable or identical items in close proximity, we cannot guarantee that such placement will not occur.

Frankenmuth Dog Bowl, INC. reserves the right to reject any vendor for any reason it deems
necessary. If based on the sole judgement of Frankenmuth Dog Bowl the actual presentation of 
performance of the vendor has from the original approved application deviated removal of the forfeit of 
your registration may result. 

Frankenmuth Dog Bowl, INC. reserves the right to amend these Policies and Procedures at any time. 
Amendments will be made in writing and will become effective immediately.
